I lurve Harry Potter best....And I do like Twilight and the books are awesome..but I'll be sick of Twilight when I'm in High School or College. And I'll most likely always love HP. I don't mean to go all deep or whatever..but reading HP really helped me through some.. stuff back when I first read them..and the books have memories attached to them. HP fits into more genres than Twilight. The writing is better. J.K. wasn't afraid to kill her characters and it made me sad but..it made the books more realer than they were. Whereas SM always either A)Has Bella knocked out so she won't have to write a fight scene B)Makes it sooo short and repeats stuff or C) Builds up to a fight where almost everyone will supposedly die but nothing actually happens. And, after reading them again, I realized how repitive she was in Twilight like the "statue of Adonis" one.
And to the HP is boring one: The first 2-3 were boring. Plus, you either had to never had read any magic-themed book or been in Elementary skewl when you read them to love them.
btw, in Most books you just read the 1st one to know what's like going on then. And then the second book goes deeper into whatever problem came from the first book.

Twilight,twilight,twilight,twilight, and I don't know, twilight! I love Percy Jackson and the Olympians just as much as twilight, but that's not included for the group...
That's okay you can mention them. We sort of strayed from those groups. Some of us started talking about Narnia!

Midnighters is utterly better. Not only is it written by Scott Westerfeld (!!!) but it's so much more original than vampires. (Even his vampires are original) It's realistic, but in a not-very-realistic-way. There isn't a lot of hype about it, which kind of preserves its complete awesomeness. Twilight is a good book series, it's well written and captivating, so is Harry Potter, but there's movies and narrow originality.
