plus, he didn't get drunk just to get drunk. his purpose in getting drunk was to cope with the after-effects of spirit using. There were probably a lot of other ways to do that, but heck, let him go. :)

I agree. He had flaws, yes, but he didn't intentionally hurt/screw people over like Rose and Dimitri did. There's nothing more I hate then people who act high and mighty and judge everyone else but end up doing equally bad or worse things.

I agree. He had flaws, yes, but he didn't intentionally hurt/screw people over like Rose and Dimitri did. There's nothing more I hate then people who act high and mighty and judge everyone else but end up doing equally bad or worse things.
totally agree, i hate dimitri for saying he wouldn't steal another mans women, but then he goes and sleeps with rose. ??? logic???
Dimitri is like the terminator...but with less charisma and personality and dedication.

Good God, my heart literally shattered when he said that. You would think that someone like Adrian, being royal and popular, drinking/smoking and partying all the time, wouldn't feel so intensely, but he does!!

Don't get me wrong, Dimitri, he is sexy. And hot. He's all brooding and mysterious. He feels intensely too, but not the way Adrian does. Dimitri is so masculine and I love that I could feel safe around him.
But Adrian touched my heart. He's so laid-back and charming, and FUNNY! Dear God, I don't think I have ever not laughed with Adrian, excluding the times he's being passionate and letting out his feelings. It's always the ones that make you laugh that own your heart <3

DIMITRI!!!! Adrian has his moments but otherwise he's just a baby. He knew Rose was in love with Dimitri and come on. The girl went to freakin Russia to try ANYTHING to save him. He knew he had no chance in hell. He basically signed up to be her rebound boy.
If it was Adrian who was turned (and it wouldn't because Adrian is lazy and spoiled) then the world wouldn't have lost much. Without Dimitri, the world would've lost a hero. He grew up in a crappy home and he made something of himself. Adrian has resources and he just wallows in his own sorrow. So he has spirit to cope with. So does Lisa. Rose grew up without a father and was sent to school instead of having a mother. Everyone has problems!
I pick Dimitri all the way. I wouldn't want to be hanging around someone who can't make the most of what he has. Life's never going to hand you everything. Dimitri knows how to make lemonade when given lemons.
Plus, Dimitri is just badass.

I like Adrian a lot, but for Rose, Dimitri is the better match. Now for Sydney . . . definitely Adrian. I hope it works out for the two of them.
This was one of the first series where I actually couldn't decide in a love triangle...I loved both. I really liked Adrian...a lot! But I think Dimitri ws better for Rose.

I think he knew Rose wasn't over Dimitri, but after they almost had sex and he drank her blood, I think that's when he felt she really did get over Dimitri. I think that was when he really fell for her and thought their relationship could work.

No I don't think he pretended, he knew that she was still not over him but he thought that maybe in the future she start loving him.
Adrian all the way! I like his flaws, I think they make him more interesting and real :)
see i loved adrian but somehow i always knew she would end up with Dimitri but i hate what she did to adrian i mean seriously u couldnt keep ur pants on untill u talked it over with him she completely crushed adrian and for that i was quite angry with her but now adrian and sydney now thats weird....not sure how to feel about him with the "Sage"
I like Dimitri, personally. Though I felt HORRIBLE for Adrian during this whole book, losing a little respect for Rose for leading him on this whole time. :|
I choose Adrian. Don't get me wrong I adore them both, but Dimitri can be quite strict and of course Dimitri and Rose, perfect couple. Adrian smokes and drink, no one is perfect, but you know, he tries to quit it, besides he is a Moroi I doubt he going to have lung cancer since Moroi's body is incredibly healthy.

I found dimitri boring nothing that special except that he is good looking. Adrian is funny, artistic, and good looking. So Adrian and Sydney. Rose can stay with Dimitri. I can't stand either of them so it's a perfect match.
