The Face of Fear has been chosen as our May 2012 Group Read. I am planning to break down and actually read this book since I have been wanting to read it for some time and I nominated it and I own a copy. I am really planning on reading this. Hope you'll consider joining me as we discover The Face of Fear :-)

Paul Salter | 40 comments looking forward to this one, I also own a copy of it (so must have read it at some point in the past), but reading the description of it I cant remember it

Paul Salter | 40 comments just started this today about half way through and its is getting better, hard to put down at the moment

Tony Talbot I read it quite a few years ago. Didn't they make it into a cheap made-for-TV movie with Lee Horsley in it?

I remember it was Die Hard years before Die Hard came out (at least the film; not sure about the book)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) | 246 comments I totally forgot. lol. Gotta find my copy yet.

There wasn't much action in the Strangers discussion last month, but I think things are going to be different this month with The Face of Fear :-)

message 8: by Paul (last edited May 03, 2012 05:08AM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Paul Salter | 40 comments didn't read that much more of it after posting yesterday

as mentioned above it is seeming like a Die Hard movie, lots of action

getting back to it for a bit shortly, want to see how it turns out, I am sure I have read this before, but cannot remember any of it

EDIT:really enjoyed that, was a very quick read

message 9: by Matt (new)

Matt (k9mayut) I might buy it later this week when I finish my current book. I haven't paid for a book in a while.

...but a Dean Koontz book is worth it :-)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) | 246 comments Yikes, it seems like we've gotten really lazy with our book discussions lately.

Yeah :-(

I did start the book and I did like what I read.

Matthew Behling (MattyKB) | 25 comments I used to love this book when I was younger. I actually have the first edition hardback when it was still written under the pseudonym of Brian Coffey (completely random find). Now that I'm older, I 'm not as impressed by it, but still find it an enjoyable page turner. An early book by an early writer. (view spoiler)

I sure wish there was a Face of Fear Audiobook and a Night Chills Audiobook too :-)
