I'm still stalled, reading books from countries that I've already counted.

What is the rainbow challenge? Sounds so colorful.

The rainbow challenge is in another group - You'll Love This One. It's a 6 month challenge that has you reading books based on the colours of the rainbow and the letters in the word "rainbow". For example, you would need to read a book that has red in the title or is the predominant colour on the cover AND the author's last name must start with the letter R. Each letter has different tasks and a different colour of the rainbow.

I blew that too and am now angry at myself as there's no possible way to make the 6 month goal. With 52, I kinda stopped worrying about keeping up though if I were to read two books a week then I could make it happen. So, it ain't happening! :)
Congrats to you Cheiko!

i had left it at 52 from the beginning out of curiosity. but once i saw there was NO WAY i could meet that, i thought i should rechallenge myself...so 32 is do-able but not a guarantee...still a challenge! :)

i keep starting books thinking i can finish them within a certain time period but then i don't. but i made two promises to myself this year:
1) don't rush reading just because other things are coming up
and
2) go ahead and read those impulse reads even if i have other "obligations."

Will there be another challenge like this next year then?
Because - although I am way behind (on 28), and have only started catching up at the end of September (though it has been 8 books since then) - I would really like to do it again next year. I used to have not enough books for even half the countries, but now I often have a choice of three or more, and I'd really love to do it again :).
