How to add non-English language editions

I'm having trouble understanding how to add non-English language editions of books.

As an example, I wanted to add my Danish edition of Milan Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being , so I used the add a new edition link for that book and added my Danish edition: Tilværelsens ulidelige lethed

Even though I added and rated my book, and put it on shelves and all, it's still not an edition of the The Unbearable Lightness of Being but rather a separate book.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing, new editions are not automatically combined. If you are a librarian you can combine. If not then post here and some one will do it for you.
