Angela, there are a number of royalty-free photo and music websites and sometimes there are even free or public domain material you can use. For my photos, I generally take my camera out.

but the second one cracks me up - if you like cats / kittens I think you will feel the same way :)

Duly liked! :)

The Book Chick produces mine, and I see she has the DAWNFLIGHT trailer featured on her sample page! Her prices are very reasonable, and her quality is absolutely top-notch.
YouTube has added public-domain music to their toolkit for producers, but their library is small at present. When I created this video of review blurbs and excerpts for DAWNFLIGHT, I received permission from a local Celtic band, Night Crossing, to use one of their numbers as background music. I happen to know two of the band members, so it was an easy request.
However, I cold-contacted Maggie's Music, a record label for Celtic musicians I've loved for decades, and received permission to use another song as background for this video representation of the narrated prologue of DAWNFLIGHT.
If you have favorite music you would like to use in your book trailers, track down the musician(s) and ask their permission! Chances are, they will be tickled for the extra exposure.

Best of luck with your video as well as writing endeavors!

I'd like to share the trailer for my new book:

I liked it, so I liked it [smiley].

This is the second movie I have ever made, and it sure was a lot easier than the first one :)

Thanks, Amber! :)
And hot off the cyber-press is a trailer for my latest release, the sequel to DAWNFLIGHT, MORNING'S JOURNEY: http://youtu.be/LHowLK1z-0I, also produced by The Book Chick.

I went and watched both of yours which I thought were well done, and liked them both because I did.
How did you get so many views on them already?
The song "Where You Are" is an original composition for my new adult contemporary romance, "Naked Edge"

I'm going to spend the day watching the trailers in this thread. If I like the video, I'll give it a thumbs up vote. If I love it, I'll share the link.
Comments on YouTube are like five star reviews on Amazon... priceless. If you see a comment from Charli Webb, consider it a stellar review.
(If I don't like a trailer, I won't 'like' or recommend it, but I won't vote it down either).

Thanks, Haidji! I liked, shared and commented on your video "Suicide Game."
I liked "Life Into Mist" but I'm not sure what the book is about, even after reading the description.

P.S> My YouTube channel is here and new subscribers are always welcome!

I agree. The trailer was atmospheric, but didn't say much about content. Just a bit more about content might help snare more readers.

And to you as well!

Thanks for the share, Charli! Of your two videos, I found your more recent one contained more info (though I preferred the music better in the other one), so I shared it and hit the "like" icon for both. :)

Liked and shared, Vivienne! (Though I had to turn up my PC's speakers in order to hear your trailer's dialogue over my daughter playing Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (LOL!)

The Fairies of Turtle Creek by Jill K. Sayre
USA Best Book Award Finalist in Children's Fiction
"The Fairies of Turtle Creek" is a charming story of Claire Collins and her journey towards believing in hope, love, and real-life magic. The story shows that the relationship between a granddaughter and grandmother is something special that should be cherished, highlights the importance of patriotism and supporting those who fight in wars as well as their families, and shows that nature provides us with magic every day, enticing us to stop and relish in its miracles.
