Who can't wait for the movie and who would be good actors?

OK, when i found out there was going to be a movie, i flipped. I tink sopia bush should be rose adn ben barnes should be dimitri. but who should be lisa, eddie, and adrain?

ok, number one) OMG THEY ARE MAKING A FILM I DID NOT KNOW THAT!!! lol i loveee this series and ben barnes is just total hotness and perfectt for it, fingers crossed :P ooh im all excited now :P

Besides, he's 33. Dimitri is supposed to be 24. Sophie Bush is about the same. And VA is on hold since they don't have a director, producer or funding just yet.
It has been brought by a studio and is slated to happen but not any time soon. However, the success of Hunger Games might jolt this adaption to life. I think Hollywood is starting to see that it's time to look to the book crowd for good ideas. :P
I think Shelley Hanning should be Rose, Jared Padalecki should be Dimitri and Avril Lavigne should be Lissa.

Shelley Hennig is a little old. She looks too old.
Every actress mentiond here is too old. And it will probably be a few years before the movie so they won't suit at all at that time (well the only chance would be to make them college age instead of high school)
Jared Padalecki is 30 - not to far off from 24. He could pass for it, I think.
I was talking about the girlseven if they are 22 now. They would be older before the filming starts so it would definitely be more than 6 years
In my opinion it's easier to make someone in their 30ies look like mid 20ies than to make someone in mid 20ies look like the are 15 or 16
Yer all actresses mentioned have been a bit to old for the part I think
If they do make a movie, I would think they'd want their cast to be rather young in case they wanted to make more of them. If they cast someone in their mid-twenties as a teenager and were still making the movies three or four years from now, it could be a problem.
Maybe they should pick actresses nobody's heard of...

I realize some of these people are a little bit older, but most the time they are. I know there have been thirty year olds that play highschoolers. Anyone ever watched Glee? You know how old the actor that plays Finn (who's 18)? He's in his 30's!

The book series is great!
I loved the series too but the movie might be like Twilight, which I hated.
Oh you hated twilight huh?I think the book was better but the movie definitely did not suck.Since the VA series is kinda long,I think that instead of making a movie,a TV series would be better.

I say they should be unknowns. I think having a movie with too many famous actors kind of ruins it.
i don't care who the actors will be as long as they know what the are doing and they are fitting for the part :)

Okay i agree with them being unknown actors, but i think Ian Somerhalder should play Adrian!Not so sure about Ben Barnes though.
