"To me it partially means skittishness, because I have an anxiety problem." He gently took back his wrist. "What scars?"

Lacie blinked looking up at him. "Well, that makes you special, even though you have issues, everyone does." Then with that she sighed. "I almost die for people... where my wings are, well by them, I have whipping marks where they bled and scarred over."
He frowned at that. "You were whipped?"
"Of course... and I was stabbed, shot at...poisoned? One time, what else..." Lacie tilted her head to the side. "Oh well," She waved her hand. "I can't die, so it doesn't matter."
"That's terrible. Can't you feel pain?"
"I wasn't made to feel." Lacie answered. "At least when it comes to that type of stuff." She fiddled with the glass in her hands for a moment.
"Still terrible." He took another drink and looked around for a clock. "Do you know what time it is?"
Lacie shrugged. "I die for people, well almost and no I do not know the time."
"Shoot. Do you ever feel like you want to quit doing what you do?"
"Why would I do that? The beauty of things is to help others." Lacie said, as she glanced over at him.
Kellen nodded. "It's good to have people like you in the world." He pushed away his drink.
Lacie gave him a smile, but it looked more sad then anything. "I'm from Heaven, it's suppose to be a job."
"You could have a bad attitude about but still do your job anyway. And you don't."
"But that's what makes me who I am. I'd die for my charges if I could." LaCie saidZ "Because I believe that they deserve a life."
"I do say." Lacie said seriously. "Would you rather die, or have me get a few scars? Think about it."
His body seemed to have triggered at the word 'die' involuntarily. His heart and breathing picked up pace, wringing his hands as they shook slightly.
"Well?" Lacie asked, watching his reaction. She could feel the things he felt but, it wasn't bad... ish.
For some reason he felt like he couldn't get in enough air, so he took more breaths. His whole body started trembling. This was all normal. "I see your point." he muttered.
Lacie stood to her feet, taking his hand, trying to sooth him with some healing powers. "It's okay, just relax, I'm not going to let anything happen to you." She wanted to hug him, because this was way worse than her best friend.
Kellen felt like he was going to fall over. "G-get it from my pocket. orange p-pill bottle."
Lacie let go of his hand, reaching into his pocket to find the orange pill bottle. She fumbled for the container as she pulled it out of his pocket and popped the lid. "Here you go."
He took out two and hastily swallowed them, wrapping his arms around himself.
((sorry, doing dishes))
((sorry, doing dishes))
((It's okay. :) ))
Lacie watched him for a moment, wishing she could heal his internal issues, but she wasn't exactly... made for doing that.

His shoulders slumped after a few minutes as the medicine took over, breath coming slower and slower. Kellen looked up at her, embarrassed. "Sorry," he hiccuped.
((stupid over capacity))
((stupid over capacity))
((I know right? It was so irritating))
"No, it's okay." Lacie whispered, stroking his hair carefully. She couldn't help but feel like she pushed him over the edge. She needed to pick her words carefully from now on, when ever she was around him at least.

Kellen recongized the look on her face and looked away. "No it wasn't your fault, it's mostly random."
Lacie took a deep breath and then let it out as a sigh. "Whatever you say, but I should have figured out some way to help you without you getting an anxiety attack."
"Somethings you can't help Lacie." Kellen closed his eyes, the drug making his thinking slower and slower.
"That's not true, everything can be healed... just in a different degree than other things." Lacie said, pulling him into a hug so that way it wouldn't look to weird... yet it did anyways.
Kellen was never hugged much, so he didn't know whether to hug her back or not. "Thanks, again, even though it's your moral duty."
Lacie cleared her throat, pulling away from him. She suddenly felt awkward about everything. "Is there anything I can do for you right now?"
"I could actually use, um, a bed to sleep in for tonight." His cheeks brightened. "God, I wasn't making a move."
"Don't worry, I have a dorm you can come sleep in tonight." Lacie said, laughing softly. "I know you weren't making a move, but even if you were, there is no way I'd do anything, we hardly know each other."
Kellen nodded, dipping his head away as he paid for the drink. "Where is it?" He asked and shoved his pills back into his pocket.
"Let's go, I'll lead you there buddy." Lacie said, taking his hand.
He slid off the stool, swaying a bit once he was on his feet.
Lacie tried to keep him upright. "Everything will be okay, once you get some sleep."
Kellen bobbed his head absently. "Yeah..."
Lacie gave him a smile. "So relax." She said, leading him out of the pub.
((I'll post))
((I'll post))
((To Lacie's dorm... unless you want to stay at the pub...))
Corvus walked in with Arrika, holding hands and looking around. There was live music playing on the small stage, mostly flutes and strings with soft vocals.
>>It's where we first met.<< He lifted their hands above her head and spun her. >>Want a drink first?<<
She giggled, standing on tiptoe to kiss his cheek, then his lips. >>Sure, though I'm still underage <<
He shrugged. >>My body's still only nineteen, doesn't seem to matter.<< Corvus took her hand again and went to the bar. >>Besides, I've known the owner for a while.<<
