Melody looked at the drink warily and nodded. She sipped it and couldn't seem to decide it she liked it or not. "It nice but not nice it's odd..." She said as she took another sip before putting it down.
Mara appeared in the pub, huffing softly as she strolled over to the bar, ordering not a shot of whiskey, but a whole bottle.
Rumer appeared after her sighing with relief. It's not that she was afraid of the maze, it was just that she couldn't stand its tricks. She looked around wondering where she was before she sighed and walked over to the bar sitting down.
Mara looked at the bottle with a small frown, and sighed, taking a large gulp. She glanced at Rumer, raising a brow. "So. I guess that's the last time either of us steps into that maze," she said. Wait.. was it a joke she just said? She frowned, and shrugged the thought away, turning back to look over the bar.
"Yep, looks like it." Rumer nodded before she ordered half-pint of rum. When she got it, she looked down at it and shrugged taking it whole.
Mara drank some more of the whiskey, sighing heavily. "So. A dragon," she said, as if she couldn't believe it. Violet would love her as a present, she was sure.
"Yep, a dragon." Rumer nodded as she set the glass down and ordered a refill, "What's wrong with being a dragon, huh?"
Mara blinked, and shrugged. "Oh... nothing at all, really," she said airily, waving her hand as if it was nothing. She flashed a smile, though it wasn't one of amusement.
Rumer looked at her raising a brow before she shrugged, "Whatever you say." With that, she gulped down another half-pint of rum.
Mara glanced at her, finishing her whiskey. She sighed softly. "I feel like at times like this we should be talking about something or other," she said with a frown.
"Hmm. Alright, what's your favorite color?" Rumer asked turning in her seat to look at Mara.
Mara blinked, and shrugged. "I don't have one," she told her, flashing a mysterious grin.
"That's a first." She smirked and nodded to the bartender to refill her glass. When he was doing that, she asked again, "Alright then what is your favorite place to go to?"
Mara tapped her chin with her forefinger. "Disney Land," she said with a roll of her eyes, flashing a grin.
Rumer chuckled and nodded, "Mine will be McDonald's. What is your favorite type of animal?" She asked before she took her glass and gulped it down as well. Lucky for her, she couldn't get drunk so she could drink as many of those.
Mara tapped her chin with her forefinger. "Hmmm... snakes.....?" she said, glancing at her, though even she wasn't sure herself. She never really talked to anyone like this, so how was she suppose to know really?
"Snakes. They are nice, but not my favorites. Mine are tigers or leopards. I'm a cat person." Rumer smiled as she played with the glass in her hands, "Okay, what is your image of a perfect guy?"
Mara frowned, almost scowling at that. "Someone who knows when to shut up," she grumbled huffing. "I don't know really actually. Not interested in a love life," she said, glancing at Rumer.
"No? How come?" Rumer frowned before she shook her head, "Never mind. I'm thinking to stop talking for now." She murmured and sighed.
Mara sighed softly, and nodded. "Right," she murmured, frowning softly. Now she was bored once more. "We should do something interesting, " she said.
"Go back to the Maze? Or go on some dangerous adventure that will make our lives hang by a thread?" Rumer asked half joking and half serious. She smiled and crossed her legs.
Mara smirked and shook her head, glancing at Rumer. "Hm. Never thought I'd hear you say that," she chuckled, looking at Rumer curiously. "You seem like more of an innocent than a dangerous. "
"Well, hey, anybody can fake their personality." Rumer shrugged, "And I guess I'm innocent since I talk that much." She snickered at herself.
Mara shrugged, offering a smile, a real one actually. This girl could actually turn out to be a friend. "You never really know, do you," she said, laughing softly, feeling herself finally relax a little.
"Nope." Rumer shook her head smiling brightly. Some found her annoying and told her to shut up after first 10 minutes. But Mara didn't tell her that which was a wonder how can she survive all her chatter.((do you mind if I make a small girl and a boy for Draculs?))
(Not at all, go right ahead :) ))Mara nodded, smiling once more and sighing softly, letting out a soft yawn. "Well... it's been a long and rather exciting day. Perhaps we should get some rest " she said, standing and paying for the drinks.
((Great! Thanks! :D ))"Back to the dorms? If so, I can't since I have my own room and so-- Sorry about talking too much." She muttered as she stood up from her seat.
Mara blinked, and shook her head. "It's fine really. What were you saying about dorms?" She wondered. Something about listening to this girls voice was... calming? She couldn't describe the feeling.
((Done!))"Do you have a place to stay?" Rumer rephrased her question looking at Mara curiously.
Mara nodded her gaze darkening a little. "Yes," she said simply, looking around the pub warily.
Rumer raised a brow before she smiled, "Well, you are welcome to come to my family's estate. Maybe we could do something else together which won't get us killed and," she chuckled, "we could meet my siblings. If they are there."
Mara breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. "Yes, that would be nice," she said, not wanting to get her own family involved. "That would be nice," she said with.a small smile.
"Even though I'm glad, but wouldn't your family be looking for you?" Rumer asked before she payed for her drinks. She looked back at Mara with raised brow.
Mara narrowed her eyes a little then shook her head. "No. It'll be fine," she assured her, smiling softly. "Lead the way," she said, giving a small nod.
"Where do you want to go first? Garden? Pool? Or main entrance?" Rumer asked while smiling at her. It felt nice to have a friend that didn't tell you to shut up every 5 minutes.
Mara shrugged, thinking a moment. "Main entrance I guess," she decided, though she wasn't even sure.
Feeling a tug that she had been called to the garden, she frowned almost hissing. Even though it was her family, she wouldn't want to go there now. Her smile returned back to her face next second and she nodded, "Walk? Or poof?"
Mara looked at her, as if the answer was obvious. "Poof," she said, laughing softly at the word, watching Rumer curiously. She wondered why she had frowned for a moment, but soon shrugged it off.
"Fine by me. even though we could use an exercise." She grinned and paused before she laughed, "After I think about it, I don't think that we do after the Maze. Alright, close your eyes so you won't get dizzy."
Mara laughed softly at that, then nodded, and closed her eyes tightly, waiting for them to appear in her house.
"1, 2, 3... Poof!" She giggled and they disappeared.
Kellen slid onto a bar stool, trying to appear older than he was. His eyes darted nervously around the place.
Lacie appeared next to him, well, not appeared as in the sense poof, come out of nowhere, but as in, she sat down trying to ease the feeling she was getting that she needed to help someone.
