Eragon - The Inheritance Cycle

This series - from the moment I fell in love with the simple farm boy Eragon, to that moment I was like "He makes a really cool (girl language for hot!) Rider", I knew from then on that this was a series that would stay with me always. The characters are so detailed and real, the world that Christopher Paolini has created, the politics, the power play, the fighting styles, the languages (Eragon really sparked a love of Elvish for me!)...all of these things wove together a brilliant series.

Feel free to rave, discuss and generally obsess about The Inheritance Cycle, including whether or not all of you liked the ending!

I've only actually read the first two, so I can't comment on the ending. I generally liked them. I wouldn't say rave worthy, I thought the dialogue was a little stilted at times, but I liked them. I almost always like books with Dragons and dragon riders in them.

I loved the books, they were awesome, and the last book was pretty good, it was an awesome ending for me. And I totes love eragon, He is my fave character

really, He's alright in my opinion... though I was very happy to find out he wasn't actually evil

So was I. I love Saphira and her playful attitude with Eragon! She's so cute!! Angela is probably the coolest character, though. I wish we could have found out more about her!!

i didn't really like the movie only because it didn't portray the film the way I wanted it portrayed thought in my opinion Eragon in the movie was my ideal picture of Eragon.

I loved the series, although it left me wanting more.... i dont feel like i got closure lol.... i think i still had alot of questions..... i hope some more books come in the future that take place in Eragon's world.

I LOVED THE MOVIE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish they'd made more though!!! so far i've only read the first two! i need to get reading XD

I loved the bond that Eragon and Arya have. That basic yet strong bond of friendship.

I have only read the first book, but bought the others. A friend of mine has read it, and tells me that the others aren't as good, so I'm a little hesitant to pick it up again. :/
