This is just to let you know that I have posted a series of books to the group's bookshelf. I envision that this is a place where group members can collaborate and develop meaningful categories/classifications and then add any and all books that we believe folks may be interested in. I view the group's bookshelf as a very flexible and dynamic work-in-progress. Ideas for improvement and function are always gratefully accepted.

Also, while down at the bottom of the group's homepage it indicates that No books have been added to this group's shelf yet . This is not correct.

Please Note-- You can successfully access the group bookshelf and see all of the books that have been added and their tags by 'clicking' on Bookshelf located in the upper right of the group's homepage.

As of April 20, 2012, I have added 41 books to the group shelves.

Aloha | 5 comments Thanks, Chris. I'll check it out. You did a great job laying everything out. I'm surprised not more people are speaking up.

If you add books to the group bookshelf, please ensure that you 'tag it' as to-read . While you may have read it, it has not been read by the group. At some point, we may wish to initiate 'Group Reads' and we can then cull through the list of 'to-read' books and select a title for a group read, and then it would tagged as such and displayed on the homepage.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have added a 'shelf' to the Group bookshelf entitled, "Genetics-mtDNA-Y Chromosome". This may prove useful as you tag books when you add a book to the group bookshelf.

As of today, March 22, 2013, we have a total of 63 books that have been added to the group's bookshelf. Happy Reading!
