This one was the worst! I hate how Ares died and how Luxa and Gregor are not together! It is the opposite of what I wanted! Everytime I read it I want to skip the part where Ares dies but that would be cheating. When I first read the book and read that Ares died I hurled the book across the room and cried. The book I am writing has many amazing outcomes and yet has sad ones. It is allot better than the 5th one. I am also thinking of writing a 7th one about a virus that goes through the Underland, somewhat like rabies. I was thinking that Ripred be the first victim of the virus but then everyone would hate me for making him die.
Anyway, the last was by far the saddest!
I liked it because I felt Collins took the book to a higher level. This book wasn't tagged young adult but the violence and sadness (couldn't think of any other words- sorry) are really high. I think the deaths showed that the book is more of just a book young children read, that it's also for young adults and even sdults to read. When Ares dies I was a bit shocked but and was so upset! I felt like there was a part of my heart was ripped out!
The virius idea is really good but it's very simialr to the third book with the plauge. (no offense)

Going back tho what Madison said, I'd love for you to keep writing new books ,that would be amazing!!!
Did Collins really think she could satisfy the readers with such a great series then just chuck an awful ending at them? Really, I cried, I cried so hard when Ares died and when Gregor left Luxa. And when I thought Ripred died I was like, No way, no way are they going to make a sixth book. because really, how can there be a book without Ripred, he's AWESOME. That's why most of the first book and the second book weren't so good. Anyway, a lot of gaps were left open, I can't even name all of them. Please Suzanne Collins, write a sixth!
it was an awsome ending but horrible at the same time i mean i cant decide if i loved it or hated it! DX
Logistics dont work out, i guess. Who knows? Maybe they can! ...if we can convince Collins to write another book, that is...
I wish that Ares didn't die. He was awesome! I'm doing a TOC Fanfic and I'm bringing Ares back! And Gluxa, but ARES RETURNS! I haven't brought him back yet, but ARE WILL RETURN! I might add some blatant Ares x Aurora. It's hinted at, but not confirmed.Ares: NO!
Aurora: NO!
Artemis: Mommy, Daddy, what's going on?
Ares and Aurora: Nothing, sweetie! Go back to bed. *Blushes*
Me: No romance, huh?
Ares dying actually shattered my soul. I hated the way the fifth book ended. Gregor and Luxa deserved to be together!
