Shannon (theholyterror) | 87 comments Rebecca Hamilton is going on an editing spree and removing most of the info from her books. She even changed her name to just the letter R so they wouldn't show up under her name anymore. She's involved in a bit of drama right now so I don't think she's thinking all that clearly. Before I revert the changes she's made, I think it would be helpful if someone from GR's staff sent her a message about how this isn't something that should be done.

♡Karlyn P♡ (karlynp) | 18 comments LOL, if she only kept quiet and acted professionally from the beginning she wouldn't be on this wild quest for 'clean up patrol'. Which, will never really clean up anyway.

Steph Sinclair (stephaniesinclair) | 14 comments This is getting rather ridiculous.

Experiment BL626 | 358 comments Just undid all her inappropriate changes. Someone from the GR staff should message her about GoodReads' rules.

I'm not sure what she realizes, honestly. This has been discussed before when an author changes info on their books - I've seen authors delete descriptions and replace it with "Out of Print" before, and it's been said to them that this site is more like a library and not Amazon. Libraries don't suddenly remove all reference of a book that's out of print while Amazon might.

Shannon (theholyterror) | 87 comments And, now she's reverting all of Experiment's changes. Seriously, someone needs to message her.

♡Karlyn P♡ (karlynp) | 18 comments Can librian's stop authors from rating their own books too? I really wish GR wouldn't allow authors to rate their book as it is such a biased rating (therefore worthless). I noticed the author of this book gave herself a (so not surprising!) 5-star rating.

No, nobody can do that.

At this point I vote for her removal from GRs. Kat had to block her to stop her from commenting on the review. Ridiculous.

Steph Sinclair (stephaniesinclair) | 14 comments I don't know. But if you're blocked, you can't see a person's review anymore. It won't even come up for you. <=== Personal experience. Lol.

message 11: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (theholyterror) | 87 comments People who are blocked can't view your reviews, profile, or statuses. Authors can still see some things, but I'm not sure if they can comment.
