Whenever I read this book I always would picture Ian as patch even if he is a little old for the part

There are plans for a movie but auditions haven't started yet!!!
The more that I read this series, the more I see that it is not movie material, in my opinion. However, I see a tv series in its' future!!

I know right?!? at frist i had NO idea who he was and then i saw somthing about him on here and diside to look him up and I was like "OMG!!! HE MUST BE THE PART THAT PLAYS PATCH!!!!!!!!"
Can't think of anyone who play as Patch.. no one seems compatible haha
I think it has to be someone you don't really know because than he would be know for being patch and not the other character he already played in an other movie and for which he is already very known.

His name is Drew Doyon. He is the cover model for Patch on all the books.

Agreed. I don't think Scott is a creep at all. The only thing I found a little odd is that Becca tried to make Nora's relationship with him be like siblings in Finale, but there was clearly a connection there.

Amelia- I'll admit Drew Doyon is a good looking guy. I can admit that. But he is not even close to how Patch is described in the book. In an interview, Becca Fitzpatrick said she based all of Patch's physical descriptions on Steven Strait. And that is who I saw in my mind while reading the books. So let me explain why Drew wouldn't be a good pick. 1) in the book Patch is supposed to be at least 6'1-6'2, while Drew Doyon is only 5'10. That may not seem like a big deal, but it could possibly be a bad thing if he gets the part (I mean imagine a short Patch). 2) Patch is described to be of Italian decent. Drew Doyon looks again nothing like that. And 3) Drew has blue eyes. That one for me is not so much of a big deal, but it wouldn't be that hard for the casting directors to find someone with dark eyes, right? I don't mean to be mean. You have your own opinion on the matter and I have mine. Look up Wade Poezyn. He is pretty good.;)
