This is really amazing for me because all of you are getting this on the day that Book 2 (The Gatekeeper) is releasing! A lot of work has gone into these books, and I really can't wait to see what everyone thinks of them. Thank you everyone who is interested!

Most of the time when you get the kindle format (MOBI.) It can be opened with a mobi pocket reader which is free on their website
http://www.mobipocket.com/en/download....
I do not like the kindles 'free' Pc reader nearly as much as the mobipocket reader (for desktop)
So when I am at home (on my desktop) I use the mobi pocket reader when I'm at work or out of the house I use my kindle.

So, I was talking to my 23 year old son about this book, He has a strong love of high fantasy and said that he might like to read it. So I suggested that he look it up on smashwords.com. Did you all know that it is currently listed as free there?
When I had looked this book up on Amazon its $.99 shhh, but maybe someone might check with Mr Morrow to see if it was an error to have it on smashwords free.
So my son downloaded his own copy, and said if its a good book he would add a review (he is a goodreads member already).
Then he showed me just how old I am by choosing to get the PDF format, opening it with the Adobe reader 7, which has a read-out-loud option under the view drop menu.
**Shocked** Oh man, these kids have it easy these days. and..er.. a.. wow does that say something about my age??
Yes! It is free. I am hoping that the more people who read the first one will want to read the second one. I am so excited to see what everyone thinks.

We are both enjoying your book.
I got to chapter 13 last night and should finish tonight when I get home.
So far your book reminds me a little of Ted Dekkers The circle series (black, red, white, green) which I loved.
Thank you again for sharing your story.
I have completed my review and posted it.http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book. I will also post my review on amazon and smashwords.
It was well written and very interesting. I read it in two days, taking breaks between to work on a report. While I am not big into Scifi or fantasy fiction, this book has me wanting to know more about the world that it takes place in. He jumps right into the action, if you are the type of person who hates the boring first few chapters of a book than you need to pick up this book! I did really like the book and I am dying to get a hold of the rest of this series.

Before I even finished the deliverer, I bought the second book in the series The GateKeeper
off Amazon with the plans to start reading it next week, but ended up jumping right into it.
I found it much easier of a read (I had a little struggle with the first getting all the names of the various fractions, land divisions and history down with the first). But I think it helped that I was fresh off the first book the lay out of Marenon and its people were still alive within my mind.
I am currently 74% done. It is another book that once you start you lose track of time and fall into the story.
It picks up 3 months later, and follows the continued endeavors and personal growth of the people of Marenon; the rebel group (Dunarian Council) efforts to collect the remaining medallions, Julians internal struggles as he assumes a new role, and Silas and his friends as they set out to find the gatekeeper and learn more about the prophecy.
I encourage you to give the second a try (download the sample), I bet you will get hooked again into the story.
:)
Here's my review! Overall I enjoyed it, but the back-and-forth with the character perspective isn't my thing. The story itself was very interesting, however.
If any of you are interested in receiving a free copy of book 2 The Gatekeeper in exchange for an honest review on amazon and Goodreads, you can send me a private message and I will send you the coupon code! Thank you all that has participated. I am very happy that you have enjoyed The Deliverer.
Also, I forgot: If you are interested in receiving updates from me via email, you can click on the link below. I will only email you when a new book is released. (No annoying emails telling you that I haven't finished a book yet. ;-)
Again, thank you all for reading!
