Hi Pam, welcome to the group.

If you need help with anything just give a holler... and you can look in the Techno Corner folder as well.

Pam Thank you. I'm enjoying looking through the posts at the moment. I'm always on the lookout for new authors in this genre.

Beth | 408 comments Welcome to the group, Pam! Who are some of the authors whose books you've enjoyed reading in the past? Once we know your tastes, then maybe we can recommend some similar authors.

message 8: by Pam (new)

Pam Thanks. I'm a big fan of Karin Slaughter and Karen Rose. I also like Tana French. I've tried some James Patterson . Tess Gerritsen used to be a favourite. Any recommendations will be appreciated thanks.

How about the Lucas Davenport series by John Sandford or the Dave Robicheaux series by James Lee Burke

If you want to get a little more exotic there are some very good series in translation. The Kurt Wallander series by Henning Mankell and the Montalbano series by Andrea Camilleri.

Jim Crocker | 176 comments Thanks! Camilleri looks interesting. I've downloaded one.

One of my favorite series, Jim. The TV series is great too.

message 14: by Pam (new)

Pam Thanks for all the suggestions will have a look at them.

Ed (oct1647) Pam....I totally agree with Mike, Donna & Jim; grab everything written by James Lee Burke, John Sandford, Henning Mankel. I would also add Don Winslow, Ken Bruen, Steve Hamilton, Stuart McBride and John D. McDonald from the "way back machine" in that group as well. I almost wish I hadn't read them so I could read them again but as Steven King said "life is too short to reread books".
