What is a snack sack? I've heard of a lunch pack.

message 33: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments Maybe it has something to do with the 'action zone'.

I remain profoundly confused about that error, its origins, and what actually happened. But I don't care enough to investigate it further, which is the story now with 99% of all errors I see.

message 44: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I think the sentence in question was originally meant to start "Zooey Deschanel left her husband, “Death Cab for Cutie" frontman Ben Gibbard.”
but was mistakenly altered to
"Zooey Deschanel left her husband “Death Cab” for “Cutie" frontman Ben Gibbard."

message 45: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I am a big (visual) Zooey fan, no matter who she leaves or takes up with.

message 46: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments You know you are adorkable when proofreaders will believe you married a man who calls himself Death Cab.

ps I will never use that stupid portmanteau again. It was just appropriate to the sentence.

message 47: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I liked it.

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
Ah, okay. So it was all due to lost/misplaced quote marks.

Now I'm going to try to forget I have ever heard of either of these people.

C'mon, you can do it again sometime. It's adorkable.

Phil | 11837 comments This sign was at a local eatery

1. Why is "wheat" in quotes? Is it fake wheat?
2. What's with the apostrophe madness? Two extra apostrophes on a single sign? They're going for the record!
