Jennifer Lawrence vs Kristin Stewart

Personally, I think Jennifer Lawrence is way better than Kristin Stewart. She was more likable over all, and she was an amazing actress! And it struck me as strange that even though Katniss was the one that was going to fight to her death in the arena, she smiles AND laughs more than Bella did in all of the Twilight movies combined...but that's just my opinion, what do you think?

i LOVE both,but since jennifer is a better actress,i choose jennifer. i think kristen isn't a bad actress but she always use same face in every movie.

Oh my god that was painful to watch. Jennifer is a much better actress and I loved watching her bring Katniss to life in the movie.

I actually quite like Kristen and her acting outside Twilight. I have nothing against her and think the amount of hate she gets is really immature.
But I do agree that Jennifer is better. She's more talented and I prefer her. That doesn't mean I'm going to hate on Kristen though.
Both are amazing in their own rights so I don't see why people can't accept that and be nice.

I havent seen her in anything besides twilight so that's all I have to base what I think of her acting on. I don't hate her as I believe that to be able to hate someone you have to actually know them first so your hate can a least be justified. I just think shes not the best public speaker.

I've watched most of them and she's a decent actress. But for some reason her skills just isn't shown in twilight.
Oh yeah she's totally awkward and stumbles on her words and that on red carpets and in interviews but that's why I like her.
She's totally normal and hasn't changed.
Just like Jennifer.
I really do like them both. They aren't stuck up and are so normal despite the fact that they're two of the biggest stars right now.

I don't like Kristin Stewart in the Twilight movies. I really, truly don't, nothing against her personally. However, whoever has seen the movie and read the book Speak knows that she was a fantastic Melinda. I think Kristin just needs to find her niche, and Jennifer totally just found hers in The Hunger Games.

They play the main characters in two hugely successful franchises based on hugely successful books. I understand what you're saying but its not out of the blue. Don't get your knickers in a knot

Jennifer exudes that tough chic vibe and Kristen seems to be the weak/ill/ready to pass out anytime type.

there is no competition. jennifer lawrence is the bombdiggity. jennifer lawrence is a better actress, a much interesting person, has a much better personality and i find her much more attractive. the interview clips i see of her is just so lovely. just everything about her is just so damn cool.
besides, kristen stewart wouldnt be able to survive in the hunger games for five minutes.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that anyone who commented here has only seen Twilight and it's accompaniments.
If you'd seen some of the other films that Kristen Stewart has done, you would know that she's actually quite a good actress. She was brilliant as Joan Jett in The Runaways and she was good in Adventureland too. I personally loved her in Welcome to the Riley's and in The Yellow Hankerchief. She's actually an exceptionally talented actress, but no one bothers to look past Twilight to see it.

Jennifer Lawrence, amazing actress, beautiful girl, normal human. That's all I have to say about her, since there's noting bad you can say about her.

I love Jennifer Lawrence.. but im a bit biased because I didn't care much for the "Bella" character much. She was just a bit too depressed for a girl in love. I've only seen the first 3 Twilight movies though.

I agree with you. I think she was brilliant in The Runaways and Welcome to the Riley's. Personally, I think she's the type of actress who excels in roles where she plays a quirky character or one with major issues. I just don't think the romance aspect in Twilight was her her thing.

I absolutely definitely love Jennifer Lawrence than Kristen Stewart. She's a very good actress and playing the role of Katniss very much suits her!! I adore her and she's a pretty kick-ass and tough heroine - so far from Kristen's Bella Swan :)

I've only seen Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games, and thought she did an excellent job.

I think Kristen Stewart looks the part of Bella, but she was a weak actress. I remember seeing her in The Panic Room as a tween and was very impressed. I had hoped she would be a stronger actress. Adventureland her acting was also bland. I was excited about Jack Kerouac's On the Road being made into a movie but was disappointed to see her cast. I'm hoping that her role will remain as minor as it was in the book.

i think it would be interesting to compare them in similar roles though - I like JL, but kinda interested to see how KS does in Snow White and the Huntsman that is due out soon - since its a more action driven movie than Twilight

I'm yet to see the movie. But with what i have seen from the trailer I'm sure Jennifer cannot be compared to whatever Kristen does on screen(if she even does anything)Kristen cannot deliver any kind of emotion. I just cannot stand how she ruined the twilight movie franchise.

Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing actress, and the fact that she could play Katniss so perfectly and everybody loves Katniss just shows what a great actress she is. She must have gone through every raw emotion portrayal in that movie and all of them were believable: love, fear, hope, shock, rage, regret, pain, amusement . . . she's fabulous!
