I smirked even more. "Maybe you wouldn't..."I paused for a second, the smirk disappearing off my face.
"I probably shouldn't be trying to do this." I said, mentally facepalming.
GLaDOS: Doing what? Trying to get on my nerves? Honestly, I mind it. But it's not as if I'm really going to harm someone of your age. It would be...
"I think I get that you're not going to hurt me... but I'm sure there are a whole bunch of things you could do to someone of my age that don't actually involve harming but are as equally unpleasant."
GLaDOS: I'm not obligated to make fun of you, either. Unless of course you have different assumptions.
GLaDOS: You have quite the pattern of anxiety brainwaves right now. Perhaps you should think of something else.
"I know, just...!" I said, and then forced myself to take deep breaths."I guess you could say I have a little bit of an extreme phobia of stasis."
Half of her really did want to put her in stasis for the hell of it, while the other just wanted her to calm the fuck down. She made a sound like a sigh.GLaDOS: A little bit of an extreme phobia? That is an oxymoron. What a shame you didn't word that better.
If you're really that frightened, I won't do anything to you.
She nudges the panel to lightly push her head away, then pressed it back into the wall. "Careful." She said simply. "You know, it's already been seven hours since you've woken up. Perhaps the delirium is kicking in already... Do you feel sick?" She asked in the same monotone voice, slightly sarcastic to hide any worry.
"DANG IT that hurt... ow." I stumbled backwards and leaned on the panels on the other side of the hallway."I'm fine. The pain... was the only thing I could think of to get my mind off of stasis." I said, and lightly rubbed my forehead, wincing.
GLaDOS: Just take a deep breath and calm. down.*releases a sedating gas through the hall via air vents, sealing off the doors at either end of the hallway.*
"OHMYGAWDWHATISTHAT!?"At the sound of some sort of gas being released into the hallway, I just began to panic more.
[sedating as in calming or making her sleep?]
(That depends on her height and weight. If she's anywhere above 110, she'd be only calmed, anything below and she'd be knocked out)GLaDOS: You should really try deep breathing.
[Lets say she's a carrot. I want a knock out!]I desperately tried to calm myself down to be able to control my breathing, but I ended up inhaling the gas anyway.
"Wha da hell is diss tuff...?" I said, becoming more and more tired and a bit dizzy, and finally passing out.
I woke up in another relaxation chamber, and by the looks of it I had been dragged here by who knows what and dumped on the bed. I just laid there, motionless, remembering what had happened and slowly becoming utterly terrified once again.
GLaDOS: As I suspected, you are becoming delirious. This is the exact reason I don't take in minors. Because they think too much. I really hope you've already had your tonsils taken out. Otherwise that's going to be one hell of a sore throat in a minute here.
GLaDOS: ... Listen. I'm going to ask you a question. And I am only going to ask it once. Your entire stay here in this facility and the choices I will make to keep you here depend on your answer to this question; Are you alright?
That question was enough to bring me out of my terror induced state of shock. I peeked out from underneath the pillow and locked my eyes on the camera in the room."W-why do you care?"
GLaDOS: Physically and mentally. I need to know if you are alright. By your standards. And for the record, I don't care, but it does indeed matter.
"I... I think I'm fine. Would be better if you didn't insist on scaring me half to death every other hour. And my head hurts. From both a headache, ramming my forehead into a panel, and you dropping long fall boots onto it."
GLaDOS: Sorry about that. Did I not say that before? In which case, I'll have some painkillers sent down to you soon. I'd like to know a bit more of why you willingly came here. Here of all places.
"I personally have close to no idea why I came here. I guess I just wanted to get somewhere where no one could find me."
GLaDOS: For that, I suppose you've come to the right place. But you realize that you are officially missing in the world out there. You could easily be declared dead in three months.
GLaDOS: I also said, by your standards. I want you to tell me how it really is. And don't lie to me. That's my job.
