After Gargle Blasters all round, John remembered his letter. He opened it and to his amazement he saw it was from someone who he had forgotten many years ago when he was just a raw recruit in the space cadets. With a flush of dismay he remembered just how he had left them ...

neon bar sign from a popular cadet bar. He had bet that his fellow cadet couldn't climb up to the bar sign and hang upside down. Unfortunately just as his friend had achieved this feat and won a large amount of money, John had been arrested for public indecency and shipped off to a prison planet.
Which is why he had ended up on Earth in the 21st Century.Meanwhile on the spaceship Patti was just coming round. Had she drunk too much? She didn't think so. So that so-called friend must have drugged her.......
That last glass of bacon vodka did taste a bit odd. Mind you, so had the previous seven glasses...
Especially on top of the egg nog!
Suddenly Vanessa made a grand sweeping entrance, and surprised everyone! Patti ran over and gave her a massive hug. Then threw up on her, which dampened things rather.
But Vanessa was wearing the forum regulation straight jacket, which is surprisingly vomit proof!
so most of it rebounded on Patti, slightly spoiling her gran green ball gown.
Patti staggered back to the edge of the bed, the colour of her face matching her gown. She groaned and put her head in her hands as the room, and Vanessa's concerned face, swam dizzily.
"Where is the sick bay?" asked a concerned Vanessa."Blerrrggghhhh!" was Patti's only reply.
Vanessa was wondering if she had been right to concern herself with this. It looked like more vomit was on the way.
