just read it. Very intriguing. I am still about confused about how Carlzle and Zeila and Anita are connected, but that could just be because of where you are in the story. Quite a few typos, but not bad.

You say that you're writing sucks, but when we tell you it doesn't, then you don't listen to us...then, when Seth says HIS writing sucks (which is absolutely doesn't) then you tell him it doesn't, and HE doesn't listen!! Do you know how we feel know??

Hey guys, I don't think my writing sucks, and only one person who's read it has liked it. I think I'm pretty darn good, and sorry if I sound pompous, but I've read stories much worse than your guys'. So what if you're not perfect, no one is? So what if it might not be a new york times best seller, it's great! And you know what, for our age, it's even better.

Yeah. EVERY writer's first drafts are going to be WAY worse than their final. I bet if you took your favorite book and read the first draft for it, you would be shocked at how terrible/worse it was!!

yeah ... the thing is, i always feel like i'm happy w/my first draft. then when i go back and read it a few times, i'm suddenly like "AGGGH I HATE THIS!!!" it's so frustrating. then i edit it, and feel happier about it. but then i read the edited version a few times and i'm like "wait ... I STILL HATE THIS!!! AGGGHHHH!!!" gah.

oh my gosh, my first draft of my nano story SUCKS!!!!! I am seriously thinking about rewriting the whole thing. I mean I can take it to a whole different direction, give them different powers and such, but still have the same plot line. But I doubt I'll be doing that anytime soon.

writing always works against us...whenever I WANT to write, i don't have time, and vise versa!! although, luckily, yesterday i suddenly got this urge to write, and i wrote about four chapters for hunted. but now i don't feel like writing anymore. :(

Brigid, What seems to work for me is doodling. I sit at my desk with pencil in hand and a empty piece of paper. As I'm making designs at random, they start turning into something specific. As I concentrate on the design and making them turn into what it's becoming(sounds weird), my mind starts kicking in with ideas, which leads to ideas about my stories. No more writers block.
