Michael | 306 comments For April 2012, we're reading the Conan story, Shadows in the Moonlight by Robert E. Howard.

This story is also known as Iron Shadows of the Moon: does anybody know if there is any difference between the stories, other than the title?

Brian January (brianjanuary) | 10 comments As far as I know, the title was changed when the story was published in "Weird Tales" in 1934, so it is the same story.

Vincent Darlage | 915 comments That's correct. REH's title was "Iron Shadows on the Moon." The editor of Weird Tales changed the title.

Michael | 306 comments So, my usual refrain of, "late again" rings out! I'm starting this story today and hope to finish it fairly quickly as we have a national bank holiday here in England on Monday (those bankers finally showing they can do at least one thing right - have extra holidays!).

Anybody else read this one yet?

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) | 64 comments I read this one last year as part of the collection The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian. I thought it was good but not one of the better Conan stories. There is a random feel to some of the plot elements which all seem mixed together without much care. Still, average REH Conan is better than a lot of other books. It's worth a read, and you can probably find it online for free.

Fernando Neeser | 19 comments It's a gret tale! I translated it in 2005, and the Brazilian translator Claudio Salles Carina did the same work in the nest year. It always made me wonder about Olivia's fate after ISitM's events....
