Half is in camp, the other half exits the boundary. Lively in the day, dangerous in the night.

Serpent's footsteps were silent, avioding twigs and brush anything that could even attempt to make a niose. Her wast long shadowy black hair flew behnd her, her steps sped. She was runnng, but from what was the question. Over her eyes was a black blindfold. All at once she jumped, the sound of a distant hoo echoing off the forest trees. Serpent's fngers twinerd around a a thck tree branch. With a soft exhaled sgh, she scrambled to pull herself up. She started climbing, but near the top a branch crackled from her footing, and she lost balance. She was falling, her ears strainng to hear something. A squack replaced the silence, and a net of darkness formed, catchng the girl. But Serpent wouldn't pause, she rolled off the custioning, and took off again. The girl breathed in and out deeply, trying to calm her breathes. She swirved, avioding a tree and skid slightly in a muddy area. She staggered, and her hands and knees collded harshly to the less muddy ground. She shivered slightly, blood trickling down her right arm. She scraped herself. A object came flying down, giving a gentle hoo, as it-an owl-brushed it;'s feathers against the girl's unharmed arm. Serpent's lips curved into a faint smile. She reached up and pulled off her blindfold. "Almost." She muttered under her breathe.
Phallu entered walked along the edge of the forest, the camp side. A trail of frost spread form the ground he walked upon. Phallu stopped hearing the sound of somethign in the forest.
"Almost." Serpent muttered one last time, before she urged herself up to her feet. A sigh escaped through her parted lips, as she noticed the blood. A chill in the air seeped through her viens, and she whipped her head around, dark green eyes searching the forest. Shadows swirved around her boot soles.
"Scan." Serpent whispered to the small owl acompanying her. Raven tilted her head, to look up at Serpent, before she gave a bob of her head. Raven's wings spread out, silver markings shining like starry moon light. Within a moment the owl had taken off sky-born. Serpent's body tensed, her gaze shifting down to the gash on her upper right arm.
Phallu stood amidst the trees, silent as he listened to the sounds of the forest. The ground around him had began to cover itself with ice.
"What can possibly be going on now..." Serpent muttered, starting to trail onward. She had her arms crossed below her chest, slightly colder then she had been moments before. She had only been there for a short while. And her time had been spent in the forest; and so she hadn't acaully met other...mutants as she heard them be called.
Phallu watched as within the trees he caught sight of a girl, it was hard to tell but yes, there was a girl.
The breeze rustled Serpent's shadowy-black mane of hair, the tips touching against her waist. Her dark green eyes had those glow like they oftenly contained. Her rhythemed steps trailed to a stop, her eyes flickering across the woods. From her position she couldn't see the boy, but she knew she wasn't alone.
Raven's squack sounded out a moment later, flooding through the air. Serpent's figure vanished completely, blending in with the shadows of the forest towering over them.
Phallu saw the girl vanish, as if becoming consumed by the shadows. Phallu kept his eyes in that direction, by now the ice had spread from him and crept along the trees nearby.
"Your freezing up my forest." The sound came from a few feet from behind Phallu. Serpent had always been silent on her feet, and swift as well. It had only taken a few moments for her to finally have enough scences to discover the chill was raining out from the boy. She shivered, yet kept her stance.
Phallu turned behind him, he spoke quietly "Oh, sorry about that". He closed his eyes and the ice began to disappear from the forest, it seemed to take some effort.
Shadows swirved across the ice patterns, swaying like a breeze of their own around the boy. Serpent's eyes flickered around before resuming her gaze to the boy. Her eyes were the most unusaul that could ever be seen. Deep inside of her eyes, emotions all burned in a heap of flames, like a never ending fire. Her tanned skin stood brilliantly out from the trees, yet could easily blend in with her powers. She pressed her lips together, studying the boy. "Cat got your tounge?"
Phallu watched the girl, her appearance was quite...unique."Why were you in the woods?" he asked finally.
Serpent almost looked suprised at the question, but the emotions seeped away from her features, once more only blazing within her eyes. "I've always lived in some forest." She replied simply, as if that was something natraul. This was as close to her home woods she was going to get. Raven hooted softly, landing on Serpent's left shoulder.
Phallu studied her, her features were a mask of her emotions, the only clue to them were her eyes."There's camp nearby" Phallu told her,"for people like us"
"I know..." Serpent's lips parted in a sigh. She leaned her back against the trunk of a tree, shivering one last time. Her hands drew close together, as Raven took off into the tree branches. A shadowball formed between her handpalms, and she began to swirve it around. "Like us." She repeated softly to herself, "No one's like us. No one of us is alike. I've learned that much...."
Phallu, who was use to quietness himself, heard her words,"You must have not met many then, one ability is not so special from another. It is not too rare to find one with the same, or at least similar, abilities"
Serpent's eyes seeped up toward him. "You may find others with the same ability. But even the same has it's differences. For example, I controle darkness. But I'm the only shadowbender that can produce raw energy into my blood stream by using that ability." She said, her vioce was icy but calm.
"Really now? I'm guessing you haven't met any others at all, by that comment" Phallu said, he was slightly curious now.
"Don't be a mousebrain." Serpent responded, "I have the scars to prove every time I've ran into one. I've been in more fights then can be counted. And trust me, I'm not the one who started most of them."
Phallu sighed softly then spoke again,"Sorry if you don't like it, but I don't believe you"((P.S. the end of this post says otherwise *shrugs* ...by the way... O.O" ))

Serpent's eyes flashed with a tangle of emotions. "Do I need to prove it to you?!" She snapped, her tone able to send chills down nearly anyone's spines. She forced herself to relax, the shadowball asboring into her skin. "Whatever cityboy."
Phallu tone became flat, filled with the cold aura that came out of him, when he spoke there was no hesitation,"Don't act as if you know something about me, I am not a city boy" he took a breath and again his atmosphere became light,"I am just stating the facts, nothing else."
"Facts will get you smacked." Serpent's eyes were started to sparkle with amusment. A smile faintly dancing over her lips. She was just so bored, and lonely against the woods, that the fact that she was aggervating this boy, made her entertained. She slid down, and sat there below the tree, blood still oozing from her arm.

((but ok, whatever *shrugs* :P ))
"Half truths and myths will only lead you blindly into a pit" Phallu replied to her comment, then he turned and walked towards the edge of the woods on the way to camp,"I'm heading towards the camp, you are welcomed to come if you want"
((Lol. I'm sorry-half the time I don't pay attention to what I write.))Serpent rolled her eyes. There was no way she was loosing the only amusing creater she'd come by. So she got up and walked after him. She was by his side within munites, and she shivered again. "Iceboy." She muttered, her lips pressing together after the words were spoken. She normally would give someone an odd nickname, until they gave her a real name to work with. But in this case, she was just bugging the poor guy. "Got a name, Iceboy?" She asked, watching his movements for a reaction.
Serpent gave a slight nod, for some reason her body finally relaxed fully, little by little. "I'm Serpent." She replied. The sound of the name she'd been going as for so long came with an ease. Unlike her real name, which sounded forgien and only brought back the pain of memories she'd stuffy in the back of head. The memories that haunted her nights, but were imprisoned in her waking moments. That's why Serpent didn't sleep very oftenly. Only every few days mainly, but when she did get the chance she could sleep all day. No suprise there.
Serpent's eyes traced up to where Raven was flying ahead. The pwl would have landed on the boy's shoulder like she did everyone; if he wasn't a walking iceburg.
((what a lovely conversation they are having :P))Phallu stopped as the left the forest and entered the open ground to the camp.
((Ikr.))Serpent's body tensed at once, her arms crossed below her chest. "I swear, Raven's better company." She muttered under her breathe, "Say something will you?!"
"It didn't say from who. It just said that if I came here, they'd give me something that I've been searching for." Serpent replied, tucking a strand of her hair neatly behind her ear.
