Nathan you can add it to your photos and we can upload from there. Adding a cover is an edit and only librarians can edit the books.

Just post back when its done and someone will grab it.

There are several Australian children's books missing entries and covers that I would like to add. I put in a request for Librarian permissions to add the covers myself, but haven't heard back. What is the wait time?

Aubrey, its usually a couple of business days, they don't work w/e.

You can always add the covers to your photos on GR and we can upload them from there, just in case it doesn't come through.

Jackson, I've done that for you, and fixed the author name. However, which edition is it, as there are several with that cover and without details.

We need ISBN, date published & publisher details, as well as page numbers.

I am trying to add book cover art to a couple of books:

1. Big 'n' Nothin', by James Edward Allen, GR link: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17..., ISBN-10: 0978869141, ISBN-13: 978-0978869144. I uploaded the cover to my Other Photos section: http://www.goodreads.com/photo/author.... I'm the publisher of this book and own the rights to the image.

2. The Kokomo Railroad, by Susan Giffin, http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17..., ISBN-10: 1600478255, ISBN-13: 978-1600478253. I also uploaded this cover to my Other Photos section. I received this image directly from the author and copyright holder.

As your books were all previously published with these covers we need to create Alternate Cover Editions rather than swapping out the old ones. We can create those for you now, but so you know for the future, the instructions are below.

EITHER: Just create a new edition without ISBN/ASIN and add the new covers. If you then let us know we can combine them with the old editions. Once the new editions are created and combined with the older ones, you as author can set the a new one as Primary edition (see #4 in the link at the bottom of this post).

OR Alternatively, if you would prefer us to do it, we can add those for you from the links provided.

It would also help to know which formats have new covers.

Check posts #3 & #4 Here if you have any further questions.

Working on the ACEs for #133 but probably will have to leave #134 for another librarian as have to go grab a train :)

Thanx a lot for covers, but cover picture didn't appear on my Facebook Books section. I hvae only default GR cover with "g" on coverpage. How could I fix it?

That's between Goodreads and Facebook, and us librarians have no control over it. It may just be something that takes time.

Unfortunatelly no, because something is sticked on isbn and barcode.

Yes, I've checked all of the beginnings and ending pages. :/ I will try to find if one of my friends have copy of this book, and ask him/her.

Soon, there will be published a new edition of this book, and when I buy it, i will send you ISBN and another data.

Karlo, there is no guarantee that the new edition will have the same ISBN, mostly they don't. If a friend or the library doesn't have your exact edition, then it is best just to leave the information blank.
