Victoria There is a picture that states: "It is like Harry Potter was a long term boyfriend who broke up with you. The Hunger Games is a rebound and so you try to convince yourself that the rebound is just as good as the long term boyfriend when really, he doesn't even come close. The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices are the ones that are really good but you always stick in the friend zone. Twilight was a drunken one-night stand that you prefer not to think about." I don't find this entirely accurate but it pretty much describes my situation. I don't even know what The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices are so that doesn't count.. the Twilight thing is completely perfect. And I love Harry Potter more than anything. I will always have full loyalty to it but I honestly love The Hunger Games so so much as well; it is such a close comparison for me. So when I say the first thought in my head after I finished The Hunger Games was "I want to read Harry Potter" I don't mean this with any disrespect to The Hunger Games at all! It is just the fact that I am so sad they are both over and I love them both so much. I don't know what to do with my life now. It feels more like a long-term boyfriend that died rather than broke up with me.. they live on in my heart.

Allie O........k no when i finished the Hunger Games series I didn't think...... Ok so yes i love them both but even though i finished both of the series it's not like........... Ok i get what you are saying and all but........ I'm reading the Mortal Instrument series right now and they are the closest thing to the Hunger Games so far..... Harry Potter and The Hunger Games are both amazing books but they are nothing alike I think that even if i hadn't read Harry Potter yet I don't think i would have found my self saying "I want to read Harry Potter." after i finished the book. What I think I'm saying is that yes Harry Potter and the Hunger Games are both amazing in their own way but they are no where near the same. I don't really understand what you are trying to bring across here but I'm just...... I don't know. It's just interesting what you are saying and well..... They both live on in my heart too but it's not like they are gone forever. Yeah it's not as good the second or third time you read them again because you know what happens but still if you want to read them again then you can. If you understand what I'm saying. Which would be surprising because now I don't even know what I'm saying but the point is...... You know what I don't know anymore!!!

Victoria Uhh.. I'm not really sure what point you're trying to get across here but.. thanks for your input! I didn't mean that they are similar at all, I know they're completely different I just meant that I love them both so much that I want to read them over and over. Just stating my opinion, in case anyone else could relate to that or had anything to say!

Allie Yeah i don't get my point either! Ummm yeah idk it doesn't really make sense to me...... Well anyway i think after a while i just was writing down random thoughts that came to my head...... :D oops
