Combining editions question

As a rule, we combine into one edition a book and its abridged or expanded versions.

Should we still combine books when the rewrite is given a different title?

I think this rewrite should be separate from the original, but another user recombined them. I figure a separate title combined with a rewrite or revision warrants a separate book listing.

What say you?
