I love, love, love this book! kira was a little hard to take at times. Denny pissed me off too as well as Kellan. However with that being said, I still couldn't put this book down! My heart just broke reading the up's and down's- and there are many. I didn't think I was going to live through until the end, biting my nails with hope, worry, and agnst- but I got the ending I was looking for. It was inevitable that someone was going to get hurt- but when your heart falls in love with someone how do you tell it to stop?

LOL Ray! I can't say enought about this book! As a matter of fact, I started reading it again while stuck in the many airports over the weekend ;)

I somehow appreciate when the story is believable and can cope with real situations like the ones you actually find in life. But I couldn’t fathom how painful this story was. I was a little confused about the feelings it arose in me because I struggled to reach the end but at the same time couldn't put it down. In this book, the painful parts overwhelmed the nice ones and Kiera indecisions made me really angry.
Though I have to say that I loved the way the author developped the characters. In particular I was fascinated by Kellan ... I think he's amazing ... I so love singers like him ... probably I couldn't put the book down because of him ;-)

LOL, I couldn't put the book down because of Kellan also! I loved him and in the end, I really enjoyed that he and Kiera found their way to one another. What really got to me (aside from the cheating) was that both Kiera and Kellan were too afraid of giving into what they felt for one another. In return, they ended up hurting the other as well as Denny. I liked that Kiera was able to wake up and realize what she wanted and Kellan was able to give her another shot. Have you read the second book? I'm sorry but I can't remember if you had or not? I enjoyed Effortless more than Thoughtless:)
@Vamsessed, I'll talk with Rayna, I think she may have it on PDF?! I have it on Kindle.

Angela, yes I read it and I agree with you, Effortless was better. It was much more focused on Kellan ;-). I always wanted to know more about him from the start.

Amazing, loved it. Can't wait for the sequel!
Kira loves Denny and the idea of him moving so far away was not an option the couple wanted to deal with, and so, the couple makes their way to Seattle.
Kellan is in a band, the lead singer to be exact, and is hotter than hell (and he knows it)! Kellan met Denny when Denny moved in with his family as an exchange student in high school. So, when his longtime friend called asking a favor, Kellan was more than willing to lend a helping hand.
Denny and Kira settle into their new place with high hopes of a fresh start- Denny with his new job and Kira starting college in a few months. Life goes well for the most part until Denny leaves on a two month business trip to Arizona.
Kira is heartbroken but with her new job working at the local bar Kellan and his band members play at she's able to keep herself occupied. At first, Denny phones daily but the daily calls slowly turn into every other day until he's hardly calling at all.
Kellan watches Kira closely- attempting to pull her out of the gloomy depression she's settled into. As their friendship blossoms, the lines of that friendship start to blur.
School and any other social events has always scared the hell out of Kira but Denny was there to help her get through- only he's not there. Leaning on Kellan's willing shoulder, Kira begins finding herself thinking things she shouldn't. When times up for Denny to come back home- even with few and far between phone calls- Kira is more than ecstatic to be back in his arms. Only now his new business trip has turned into a permanent placement- leaving Kira in Seattle and Denny in Arizona.
She's waited for Denny to come back, hell she moved halfway across the country to be with him, but this new development is a deal breaker. And who's there to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart, none other than Kellan. One bottle of wine and countless shots of tequila later, Kellan and Kira's shaky line of friendship is overstepped. When Denny realizes the error of his ways, he’s promptly back begging for Kira’s forgiveness only he’s not the only one who needs it…
