Where do you want to see this series going to?
I definitely hope this series is long lived, but I'm really hoping for an epic battle between Heaven and Hell, angels vs demons, with Reyes and Artemis helping on the good side. Since Charley is royalty, I wonder if she can get to the position of princess/queen and turn the crown to Reyes? I'm sure that would cause chaos and a lot of envy! All the while on Earth she would still be the grim reaper trying to live with Reyes who is slightly unused to living with the opposite sex and fighting bad guys or just demon possessed humans. I wonder if humans could fight besides angels as well. Like Cookie and Ubie helping as they can... Gemma would be a great addition as well.Uh, so that's my long take on this. And thank you for continuing the discussions! :)

Yes, I would like to see the battle between heaven and hell. I think that would be pretty epic. I don't want the series to end so I'm thinking that a HEA would be great, but not at the cost of losing Charley and Reyes. The tension between those two is amazing.
I'm interested to read what Darynda does with Donovan's character. I really liked him and his band of bikers. ;-) Would like to see Cookie gets some man love, whether it be from Garrett or Ubie. I'm also hoping that Artmeis has a big part in keeping Charley safe from the demons. Thinking about this makes me want 4th grave to come out NOWWWWWW!
I agree- I would love to see some huge battle like that, but...later! I think we still have so much to go through to get to that point, but how amazing would that be?!? Can you imagine the fun tensions that would come up between Charley and Reyes on the good vs. evil front? How cool!!I want to see Cookie in a relationship, and I think it should be with Ubie... oh, or maybe with Donovan?!? I hope he sticks around- he adds some nice tension between Charley and Reyes, and a little more edginess to the story.
(I have more thoughts but I'm at work and keep getting distracted! So more later, unless you ladies beat me to my ideas!!)

I agree with Ines and Candie that a battle between Heaven and Hell is coming and our couple needs to become a harmonious couple to make a dent in the outcome of this battle...I'm trying to imagine Charley's ADD and an Angel having a discussion....hmm....would be terribly funny!

Charley and Reyes need to get together, but they're going to have to overcome some issues that threaten to break them up a few times...again we don't want the true HEA to happen too soon so that the series can continue. We already have Charley feeling betrayed by Reyes, so I imagine Reyes having some kind of misunderstanding by Charley's actions...maybe something to do with that photo she kept?
I definitely want to see Cookie get an HEA too! I see hear with Ubie ultimately (Ubie needs his HEA too). He would be such a good step-dad to Amber.

There's no need to keep them separated just to make the tension linger... I'm pretty sure Charley and Reyes can be even more explosive together than apart.
I don't mean it needs to end after one battle, I think it will end in a gigantic war but the following books can be about some minor battles of preparation. A bit like political wars and gathering information about the enemy. Charley will eventually fight demons, and she really needs to start kicking some people! I can't wait to see Charley and Reyes as a duo exterminating demons! lol
I do believe that when Charley and Reyes are together things are going to be explosive. They are going to have plenty of fights as they try to regulate the fact that Reyes is going to want to kill anything that confronts Charley. And he CAN'T do that and remain a free man...
I'm excited to see where this series is going.I don't have anything in mind directly as where I want this series to go but I'm happy to think of what's to come.I can't wait to see what happens to Charley(with her dad,uncle,Reyes).The only thing that I know for sure is that I hope Cookie gets laid! I wonder if Charley will go to jail and Reyes will be free.

I always imagine Reyes helping Charley using his "big bad" form but of course now he can be there in flesh and bones. Hum, his impulsiveness can definitely bring a lot of problems towards his way.
I don't think Ubie would let Charley go to jail...her Dad should be ashamed of himself (ya ain't getting a card this Father's day Leland)! I see that he's trying to get her away from criminals who try to kill her, maybe Charley should explain that it's training for the fight she's going to have to win against demons. Then he might let her grow into what she is fated to be. Reyes needs to show he's behind Charley no matter what she does with her life. She was never fated to be "the little woman". He can kill all the demons he wants, but unless he slices and dices using his sword on the spinal cord without cutting into them physically, he's going to have to knuckle under and let Charley show him that criminals are to be hunted down for the cops to nail, ie Ubie!
I would love to see Charley learn about her real family, her royalty, her powers, and learn how to use them before a battle between Heaven and Hell should occur. I would love to see Reyes and Charley get it on in their corporal bodies and begin to develop a real relationship. Once they start a relationship, it does not mean HEA because the battle will have to take place and their relationship must grow. Maybe, I am too sappy but enjoy series in which the hero and heroine grow as a couple and work together (Night Huntress series and the Guild Hunter Series are two examples). The series can continue to be hot and intriguing with growth and plot twist.I am cheering for Ubie and Cookie. I love them together. I am hoping Garrett plays a huge role in the upcoming battle and will help Artimis protect Charley.
In short, my sappy self wants Charley and Reyes boinkin' for real, fighting side-by-side as a team, Ubie and Cookie pairing, a team of Artemis, Garrett, and more assisting Charley. I hope the series leads to many more books filled with lots of hot-n-steamy scenes, tons of intriguing discoveries about the world Darynda has created, and finally hundreds of hilarious episodes.

It just proves a couple can get together, the relationship can grow with the series and the books can still be great. A series does not have to have the sexual tension or the constant question of who will the heroine end up with to be a really good read. I actually hate it when authors hold off too long. It drives me bonkers.

Specially if we get to the point of Charley trying to keep women away from Reyes - he even has fan clubs, right? lol
Jealousy is a nasty quality...every one feels it at some point, but those with confidence and in good relationships only feel small sparks. They understand their lovers are true, respectful, and loyal. There is no need to worry about cheating. Reyes and Charley need to build a relationship like this so they can fight side-by-side to protect Heaven together.
I want them to be a couple so much! I want to "read" them fighting, making up, learning and growing together. I want to see the interaction between Reyes and his new mother-in-law, Denise... I want to see Gemma fighting for her sister as well. Oh, so many possible stories and plots!

I wish Kim would change her mind about Rachel having to wait to the last page to have her HEA! That sucks.I would've loved a book(13 or 12) to show how Trent/Rachel are working out.I soo love this series but I need to finallyt see Trent/Rachel together.It's time!
I don't know if Rachel can bow down to Trent...I know Jenks and Ivy would disown her if she went with Trent...maybe Kim will write it in such a way that I will eventually forgive him for pitting ferret Rachel at the rat fights. That was just soooo wrong!

There is no reason a couple getting together has to mean the end of the series. People must adapt and change for relationships to work. The transition of new relationships can be just as heated and interesting as the initial sparks. People want and need to read after the fairy tale HEA. What happens next when the knight in shining armor leaves the toilet seat up and the princess falls in the toilet in the middle of the night? What happens the first time she is too sick to make love? Come on...great authors can make a series work with couples moving forward. Those are the authors I prefer to read because I get too wired with the suspense.

You're right Mel! That's one of the reasons why I like the Night Huntress series so much...Cat & Bones are together and the series continues on past the initial HEA.
I like the Hollows series, but I so wish we could just finally decide who Rachel is going to be with and move on already!

Rachel will want to free Pierce and somehow fix the "hole" she created. Oh, plus demons are going to want access to Earth without restriction. These are just my theories, but when Al took notice of Trent's little girl, we know Trent and Rach will not let that go.

Now, it is not as enjoyable for me.
I hope for the Charley Davidson series to find a way for Reyes and Charley to be in a relationship, continue following the relationship grow and struggle, and finally end many, many, many years (novels) later after the couple has saved Heaven and Earth and found a way to keep Heaven and Earth safe.
I wish for this series to be one in which we share a couples growth.

I also hope Charley and Reyes get together and continue their fights and confusions together. Postponing the moment everyone is expecting is fine in the beginning but then he's pretty exasperating. I really don't want Charley down that road!

I like the building up of tensions a little more... I would love for them to become official or whatever sooner rather than later, but not quite yet....
The Hollows is an automatic buy for me - I love it!With Grave - I just want them to be together, like really in the flesh together and not just the corporeal stuff! Stephanie, I agree! There definitely needs to be time for Charley to heal. It would not make sense for them to jump right into the sack or into a relationship together in the next book, maybe book 5..
Ines, the Hollows series is a great series. I would definitely recommend it to you or anyone who loves urban fantasy and paranormal romance. The suspense is simply killing me and I want Trent n Rach to get together.

I just hope the humor stays...Charley's ADD is hysterically funny! The relationship between Dutch and Reyes will take some time now...they need to set some parameters and maybe "date"...yeah, that aught to be good for some good belly laughs. I just hope that after waiting this long for her, that Reyes doesn't screw up and give in to temptation...cause you know Elaine will be there shaking her pom-poms at him!

Remember if you just say HEA...that could very well be THE END. So think up some situations you could see our favorite Grim Reaper falling into and maybe our favorite Son of Satan pulling her out of ٩(•̮-̃)۶
And don't forget our other favorite characters!
