I can't help with the re-read conundrum.
It is possible to add multiple editions of the same book. You just need to add it using the different ISBNs and then add it to the to-read shelf (at least that's how I ended up duplicates).

Yeah the multiple issues isn't that big of a problem. I do that all the time unintentionally because I forget I added books to my to read shelf and then when I have finished them I add them again to my read shelf. Just pick the versions you want and add them like Crusader said.
The re-read is something that frustrates the hell out of me. What I do is I keep the book at the original date I read it and add the re-read date in the review section. I know it is meant for other things but I use that section for my own anyway and hardly ever right a full review. It then doesn't show up in the statistics but I still know all the dates when I read the book.

Ahh. I never really knew the "review this edition" option would add an extra edition to my shelf, so I didn't even bother trying it.
I guess the re-read thing is a missing feature then. We should complain!
When re-reading a book, I move it from my 'read' shelf to 'currently reading' shelf. Then when done reading, move it back to my 'read shelf'.
BUT
The problem though, comes with the date read and the progress updates. The book then loses the previous read date and gets removed from my stats for the year I read it in previously.
And it still keeps its old progress - for instance the last update was at 83% on Mar 2009.
Am I doing this right? Is there a better way, perhaps to add multiple read dates? I know you can add 'Times I read this book', but knowing all the previous dates would be nice. Losing it from displaying in previous years stats is frustrating.
Also, is there a way to add multiple editions of the same book to your shelf? Because for some books I have ebooks/physical books as well as audiobooks. That used to be possible when I joined some time ago, but now I'm just not seeing it.
Help please. I feel stupid.
