useFOSS Hello friends.

I'd like to invite you all to vote on the list, Best Books on Darwinism:

Goodreads.com/list/show/4118.Best_Books_on_Darwinism

Add and vote for what you think are the best books that question, criticize or attempt to disprove Darwinism (macro-evolution) or any of its tenets.

A counterpart to this list for works that make a "good case" for Darwinism is available here.

Johnnie (berfer) Who Made God? Searching for a Theory of Everything by Edgar Andrews Not really on Darwinism but it is on science and the evidence for God.

Johnnie (berfer) Just a thought: If we believers, people of faith, are to test our beliefs and faith by our convictions of the unseen and unproven, shouldn't the atheist also scrutinize his moral bearings as science cannot and will not either prove or disprove God. In other words, if we have to consider that there will never be a temporal proof for God (or philosophical) shouldn't the atheist also be honest that he too will never be satisfied with any answer that is offered? As we live in constant question the atheist should also live in constant question.

But they don't. They are more sure of what does not exist than of what may exist.

Johnnie (berfer) I also hope to start The Rage Against God: How Atheism Led Me to Faith by Hitchens (brother of the Late Christopher). I have heard him on the radio and he was quite fascinating. Again, not Darwinism, more of the newer modern atheism. The Rage Against God How Atheism Led Me to Faith by Peter Hitchens

Rod Horncastle I just read Rage Against God. Interesting book. Not what I expected at all. Peter is no theologian, so the book is not a major defense of Christianity. But it does deal alot with his worldview against that of his brothers. Good stuff. Peter Hitchens Loves God - what a miracle.

I've read numerous books against Darwinism. The problem is i'm not a scientist and have to take everyone else's words as possible truth. But there is some major problems with modern science and its beliefs.

I do enjoy Lee Strobel's collections about Darwin and pseudo science. A case for a Creator was great. Some great chapters by impressive Christian scientists.

I've figured out the main problem with atheists and Evolution: they quickly assume that all Non-Christian scientists agree on all issues surrounding Micro and Macro evolution. But even a quick glance will prove that their are numerous differing opinions by Non-Christian scientists. This means that it is not us against them. Basically science still doesn't have an agreed upon answer.

Johnnie (berfer) And as I tried to convey, shouldn't that make them question their convictions and beliefs (faith?) in the same way that we do? As we get new information about life and death our religious views are scrutinized, re-evaluated and sometimes even suffer some doubt and fear. Shouldn't they also suffer the same examination of their soul? Yet, they do not and are more entrenched than any man of faith.

Actually, the list is on Darwinism, Johnnie. I've read several of the most voted books on it.

Thanks for your comments about Atheism though.

Karen Great list. I have only read 1 of them. Ever since I am able to get so much on computer with this subject that is what I do.Love to vote, but without reading more than the one I would not know. The one I did read would not be my vote either I am sure.
