Sarah (moragepona) | 33 comments Say I had a Paperback and an Audiobook of the same book. Is there any way to add a duplicate issue on purpose? I managed a while back with an english and french edition of The Little Prince, but that was an accident, a good one, as I have both, but nonetheless an accident. Now I'd like to add my audiobooks on purpose, the first 2 Vampire Academy Volumes and all 7 Harry Potter Books.

Can anyone help me out?

Iluzija O. Istini | 241 comments Yes, you can.

I assume you are talking about adding them as 'read' to your GR profile. Just enter list of editions, you have link at the right side of a book (more editions) and add as much as you want.

Sarah (moragepona) | 33 comments I can only find the Switch Edition Button, or the Add a review of this Edition. Would that second one be the one to click on then?

Yes.

(This isn't really a Librarians Group issue; it's a Feedback Group one.)

Sarah (moragepona) | 33 comments Thanks Rivka :)
Didn't mean to confuse issues and where to post them.

Hey sorry to bump this old thread but I have a similar problem/question.
I added 2 books "The Summer of 1983: A Novel" and "Alexander's Choice". In paperback, then I clicked "add edition", and filled up for Kindle. But it seems to create an entire different entry. Am I doing something wrong, or is it later manually merged by somebody else ?
If I've done something wrong, my apologies, let me know what do for next time, thanks.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments No - different issue and combining now.

In future, there's a VERY long thread for combining, which is frequently for new editions of existing books (Add Edition pre-fills in some of the blanks for you, but doesn't automatically combine them).

Ok thank you Emy.

It gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book is also used for other books. I am closing this thread. Start new ones for other books.
