Guessing Game
Probably something really normal. Matthew or Chris. I loved him too. What does that say about us I wonder? haha Anyway very cool book.

i loved him<3 he sounded *not a pun* like a Caleb or Samuel
He's a sociopath who has no redeeming quality whatsoever. He's poor little rich boy spoiled brat who feels sorry for himself (because he's mute) so he kidnaps, rapes and tortures a girl until she no longer can live in society.
I've often wondered why (in RL) it is that after wanting to know whether someone is male or female, the next thing is wanting to know their name. Can a person's name tell us anything about the person?
Also we don't get a very specific description of the man. I wondered if the mention of a specific type of music could mean anything? Do appearances say anything about character? Can the look in someone's eyes give away character?
Anyhow, back to the OP question.
Chapter Nine of the book gives us a puzzle:
"I was at a convention in Nashville, one of those boring meethings where we judge the health of the company and all the stockholders bitch and whine. I really couldn't give two shits about the business, but it was my father's. I'm a fucking household name but no one knows my face, which is fine by me. I'd rather have my privacy."
I'm not overly familiar with household names in the USA. What does everyone have in their household? Headache pills? Cleaning detergents? Toothpaste?

Admat96, I couldn't agree with you more. This was definitely not a romance, and the ending was not satisfying. The whole thing was a game to him. He feels nothing, especially for the person he broke. The guy is nowhere near to being a hero. By the end he sickened me. I don't know how anyone can romanticism a sociopath that has no redeeming qualities or remorse. He is a monster.
