I have so many books on my TBR list that they are starting to make me itch lol

There also seem to be some good new releases that I can't help but add The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan being one.

Which books are you itching to read?

I am looking forward to this, as I loved his first two books The Red House A Novel by Mark Haddon , but I have such a massive pile of books in my bedroom and virtual books on my ereader that I just have to stop myself getting any more until I've cleared the decks a bit!

The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan That one does look like a good book club read, Kirsty. I can see it raising quite a bit of discussion. What would you do? kind of thing.

I'm liking the sound of this one too Gillespie and I by Jane Harris Apparently it's got lots of twists and turns to the tale, and I like a story to surprise me.

Yes I know you have to spend £15 though and I only wanted the one book. I did it the end though and ended up spending nearly £20 hehe. Thank you :)

I've got to say it - I can't wait to read One Hundred Years of Solitude (The Folio Society) by Gabriel García Márquez . I started reading it over 10 years ago but was too distracted (living in a hostel dorm when I first arrived in Taiwan) so I gave it back to the girl I'd borrowed it from. I've since read Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez and loved it's gritty realism.

unfortunately it's not coming out until mid-september, but I've been hearing so many good things about it I'm nearly bouncing off the walls with excitement.

I'm looking forward to The Daylight Gate by Jeanette Winterson . The synopsis makes it sound really intriguing, and I've loved everything by Jeanette Winterson I've read so far.

message 25: by Karen (new)

Karen | 120 comments Ditto the The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, #1) by Robert Galbraith , but I also want to read What Fresh Lunacy is This? The Authorized Biography of Oliver Reed by Robert Sellers - the sample I've read makes it seem a real cracker.
