Rick | 2 comments Have been dying to find this book for 40 years! Hope you guys can help!
Spiral bound book, seemed oversized, lots of pictures of naturalist topics. Pictures of Darwin's office or study with naturalists animal samples and skeletons around. Other pictures I think were sea turtles, moose antlers, some animal skeletons, etc.
I read it in 1970-1972, when I was 4 or so.
Thanks so much in advance!

Mlk | 23 comments This probably isn't it, but in 1905 a book was published that featured pictures of Darwin's home/office. Little Journeys to the Homes of Great Scientists - Darwin by Elbert Hubbard

Another option: (1963) - Apes, Angels, and Victorians: The story of Darwin, Huxley, And Evolution by William Irvine

Last option I can think of: (1964) Darwin of the Beagle by Bern Dibner

Rick is still looking for this. Moving out of Abandoned.

"This might be a tough challenge. This is a natural history themed book. It was heavily reliant on photographs. It had photos of Darwin’s study in it. I believe that it had a tortoise on the front in a blue-green background. The binding was very unusual- it was a green plastic loops. The pages seemed oversized and overly thick almost like cardboard. This was a book that I read when I was very young. So it would have been in 1972-75 that I read it. From the look of it it was probably published from 1965-1975. There were a number of other natural history specimen photos and talk of Darwin and evolution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!"
