It's always nice and a little reassuring to know your not the only one swimming against the tide.

Misfit | 198 comments Just popping in to thank Bev for my lovely prize win. I have a copy of Georgette Heyer's Charity Girl of my very own. I still have to girl Heyer's regencies a whirl. I keep putting them off. My bad. Thanks, Bev.

Lol, I also had a book coming from Paperbackswap and Bev's name on the return address didn't register at first. I opened it thinking is was that book and I was scratching my head at first. Need to go get some coffee I think :p

Geevee Good for you Misfit and hope you enjoy it. I've often wondered if I should tackle Heyer's books, perhaps the mysteries but so far I've not read any. Her own life would be interesting to read about too - has anyone read a biography on her?

Jemidar | 358 comments Yep, I've read both of the bios that have been written about her and enjoyed them very much. The latest and most comprehensive one is Georgette Heyer: Biography of a Bestseller which Kim and I buddy read back in January.
