My parents are going to spend the day with my brother, sister-in-law and their daughter ages 6 and 5. I don't feel that I will be able to go. You are right that there are so many ways to spread cheer in the Spring. I know people often think of service projects more around Christmas than Easter. I am sorry that I didn't get anything under way this year, but hopefully next year!
I was pleased to hear on the news that the Old Chicago restaurant in downtown Omaha, NE had a meal for families this Easter weekend. One family interviewed was out of work and really appreciated it.
It's always nice to hear 'good news' rather than all of the crime and pessimism on the news these days. Thank you for sharing that, Barbara.

What are we going to do this year?
I would love ideas, feedback and testimonials of diverse ways we can use this holiday to spread cheer and hope to those around us and to the world!
