Looking for translation recommendation

I really want to read Quiet Flows the Don but I am not sure which is the better translation. Does anyone here have a recommendation? I see the 1996 translation with Brian Murphy had the pros and cons mentioned in a NY Times article. I just want to know if that is the better translation before I buy the used copy for $50.

Any advice is much appreciated!

I haven't read this but perhaps you should try Stephen Garry's one if you don't already own the Brian Murphy's one. I saw good recommendations for that one, though I've not read it. Once you are done check out the drama : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384712/

Thanks Shanez! I will see if I can find that version a little easier. I can find used copies but I want to make sure it is a good used copy.
