SparksofEmber | 957 comments No problem. :) It's always exciting to get a personal response from an author!

SparksofEmber | 957 comments Sorry to keep replying but had to update: she says The Elopement is full of hidden Star Trek allusions (like I needed any more incentive to get my hands on a copy?!) and when Wildside republishes, they should change the title to Raised Eyebrows. :)

Barbara Brien | 151 comments I need to go back through and look for the Star Trek allusions now!

I totally get the raised eyebrows, though, since two if the characters shows every emotion through the slight raising of an eyebrow.

Lorena (lorena23) | 1 comments I know exactly what book this is! It's Taffeta and Hotspur, by Claudy Conn!

SparksofEmber | 957 comments Um, Lorena, this was already solved. See above? It was The Elopement by Phyllis Karr.
