They sat across the table from each other. His blonde hair was sort of a mess, but she didn't mind..her's probably looked the same. "That was some ride huh," he said. She cracked a smile. "You have no clue Zane, should we trust you by the buggy again," she said. He shook his head. "No, I do not understand the controls of the buggy," he said. She laughed. He looked at her confused. "Mai, did I say something funny," he asked. She smiled. "Yes, you agreed that you shouldn't drive the buggy," she said. Zane cracked a smile. "Oh so that is funny," he said. Mai smiled. "Of course...you know...you're different...in a good way. I like different...I'm different myself," Mai said. Zane smiled. "I like different," he said. Mai blushed. "Thanks Zane," she said. The watch on her wrist started beeping. It flashed an orange color. Mai jumped up. "Sorry Zane, I, uh, gotta go," she said. She smiled and waved at him and rushed out. She jumped into the buggy and drove off. Zane sat there with a blank face. "Looks like someone got ditched," Jay said. Zane looked at him, brown hair and all. "No, she just had to leave," he said. Jay bursted out laughing. "Jay, explain, you know I don't understand funny...you know since I'm a nindroid," Zane said. "I'm laughing because you think its going to end happy and she likes you, but its the complete oppisite," Jay said. Zane looked at Jay obivously not amused. "She likes me, its just that she's very busy," he said. "Totally..."

He looked at the lifeless statue of her. He closed his eyes and looked away. He glanced up at the top of the mountain of junk at the glass jar at the top. "I'll get her back. You just watch me! You'll pay for taking my love away. Even if it takes my last breath," the forgotten rabbit growled. He then sighed. His reason to live was gone. He looked over his shoulder to see the paintless cat. "I'm sorry Ortensia..."
