They don't use lead in pencils anymore, it's graphite. I eat them all the time.

Besides, I don't think they ever used it. My mother (a biologist) says the metal would never stand up to the test of time, as it is too soft, and it is banne din children's items, I do believe pencils count. So, it is indded graphite, FMA will not be leaving us.

Not all things from China have lead in it. All things that are sold in the U.S, that are imported, must go through customs. They must meet requirements, which includes, not having lead, or other metals that present a health risk. I asked both of my parents. Sooo...Yeah, ur wrong.
