Staking Shadows question

Anyone know if this particular book called Stalking Shadows by Rebekah Purdy will spark a series? If not a series the ending left a lot to be desired, because it sounds like there's more going to happen. I tried to see if I could get in touch with author through email or what not to ask her personally, but no luck. That's why I'm asking and making a discussion about it.
