AHHHHHHH FANBOY FEELS Stumbled on an awesome picture of Hazel…. She cut her hair a couple months ago, and to be honest, I liked it better when it was long. But this picture…her short hair is still totally awesome. And her facial expression…those eyes…*melts*

@SaruLOL. I should have explained that. She sent me that picture with a caption talking about how that was the first and last time she'd hold a $100 bill. XD

Oh haha I got it :)
Well…today was my last day leading a writing group meeting. It went well. (Translation: nobody saw me cry.) I talked about struggling with feeling motivated to write and how to overcome it. And Savannah texted me afterward to tell me that it went well. But I'm totally in denial right now. Like…it's over now. I'm going off to university, Savannah is taking over, and I'll see them maybe once a month. I mean, I guess that's okay because Hazel, but I'm still a little nervous.

Speaking of holding $100 bills...

Today is kind of cool.

WHERE'D YOU GET THAT
Hahahaha I didn't steal it, don't worry. ;)My neighbor man is leaving for Italy tomorrow and I'm helping take care of his wife while he's gone, and he stopped by today with part of my payment in advance.
Also, thanks, Sam! :)

I generally tend to spend money as soon as I get it...I'm hoping that in this case, maybe I'll actually start to save up. At least some of it. :P

I almost NEVER spend any of my money. I'm a total penny pincher. :)
I'm all over the spectrum on emotions. Excited, nervous for the future, glad high school over, longing to spend more time with Hazel, already feeling the thin separation from my friends….Yeah. Pretty much everything.
Yeah…I'm only moving about 40 minutes away. So I won't be really separated from them. But I'll see them a lot less…once every couple months at most…though they are coming down to the university for a three-day writing conference that Savannah and I have attended for two years already.

i just did that last week and ack, we're so old haha. when i was little i thought being "old" was, like, being in fourth grade or something. hahaha. and now graduation... i just never pictured me being this old when i was little. does that make any sense?
whatevs. can we make a i-just-graduated-high-school club. that would awesome.
except it might be kinda lonely, since i think you and i would be the only ones in it at the moment, haha.

but in a month we'll have more people to join. everyone who graduates now, be a part of this, kay? kay. awesomesauce.
I am so excited for graduation asdfghjkl I just can't even. I thought I would be feeling a bit more, I dunno, regret or whatever, but NOPE. Even though I won't be moving out or anything like that, so I'm not going to have a super huge change, I'm still soo ready to be done with high school. But anyway, I'm in Washington now for my cousin's graduation this weekend and then mine is next. :D

what are you doing after graduation, like next year and stuffs?

Even though I wo..."Community college. Meh. It's all we can afford and I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's not my ideal. I'd love to get out of my own house for a while. But its just not what was right for me at this point in time.
@MeaganI expected many more regrets as well. Throughout all of my senior year, I felt weighed down by the notion that I hadn't done everything I could to teach the kids in my writing group, despite darling Savannah's protests to the contrary.
But, after my last meeting with them, one of them (HAI EMMIE HOW ARE YOU) had a little written exchange with
((whoops posted early sorry I'm sleepy))Savannah that helped me realize, "Hey, these were my goals and look, I met them."
So I felt much more comfortable about leaving.
In which I mildly express my inner torment:I DEMAND INDEPENDENCE
FOUR SCORE AND SEVEN YEARS AGO, THIS GIRL NAMED SAVANNAH DID NOT WALK THE EARTH AND TODAY SHE IS AND SHE NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED
IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN EVENTS, SOMETIMES THERE ARE SOME REALLY DUMB PEOPLE WHO SCREW UP DREAMS. TODAY, IT IS MY PARENTS, WHO DO NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THE WAY I CELEBRATE GOING THROUGH TOUGH THINGS (LIKE HIGH SCHOOL) IS TO FILL MY LIFE WITH ACTIVITIES I ENJOY
LIKE WRITING
BUT NO, INSTEAD I HAVE TO WORK SIX HOURS AFTER SPENDING SIX HOURS WITH MY FAMILY AND THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE DONE FOR A LONG TIME
I HAVE A DREAM THAT ONE DAY, I WILL BE ABLE TO WRITE WITH ONLY A LACK OF INSPIRATION TO STOP ME
WE THE PEOPLE (THAT IS, ME, MYSELF, AND I) WISH TO BE LIBERATED AND HAVE THE FREEDOM TO WRITE ABOUT HOW FANTASTIC SAVANNAH IS
-.-
