Carole After much anticipation, I was really disappointed in this book. I really liked the first 2 and I couldn't wait for this book. This book felt really rushed and thrown together. There wasn't any plot developement, or character developement. It seemed as if the novel was written by a different author. I feel really sad as I enjoyed the other 2 novels so much. This felt like a novella to me. I also don't understand the outcome she chose for Cal and Archer. Does anyone else feel the same?

Krista Absolutely. I was extremely disappointed. The author could've done so much more. I wanted more than a few pages in the underworld. I wanted more with Sophie's dad. I wanted more romance between Sophie and Archer. I wanted more Torin. And, I wanted so much more for Cal.

The one thing I could've done LESS with was the snarkiness. A few quips here and there would get the point across. Constant sarcasm and pithiness from our leading lady got really old after a few chapters.

It was a really poor ending to what otherwise was a great series.

Carina she could of done more for the romance and about what happen after they finish everything like the future what happen with the head council.it feel like a small story like she try to rap it up really fast. She should make another book about what happens in their life like what happens with Cal, Sophie's parents, Nick and Daisy, Sophie and Acher, and what happens with the family.

Ferdy I had mixed feelings..I did enjoy it overall but there were a lot of things that I wasn't happy with. Archer and Sophie's relationship hasn't really changed form the 1st book..they just throw quips at each other..I was hoping their relationship would have more depth in this book.
The main problem I had was Cal's ending..I mean it just came out of nowhere and was then forgetton about. I don't buy Sophie as the head of the council..seriously a bunch of adults thought a 17yr old would be a better option than an experienced, worldly, mature adult..sure Sophie saved the Hex Hall students but only because she had demonic powers and only with the help of her friends and family..I would have bought her being invited to join the council but not be the head.
I would have liked there to be more scenes of Sophie and her parents.
I didn't like the Brannicks except Izzy..Aislinn and Finlay were just bit**es. I got the feeling the spin-off would be about Izzy and Torin or Finlay and some fey guy..because she had that weird moment were she got all prickly about faeries.

Katie I'm torn. In some ways the final battle scene just didn't do it for me, but in small portions of the overall battle it did. I pretty much loved the rest of the book, but it feels as if the journey they took to reach the final battle eclipsed the battle itself. Otherwise, I pretty much loved the book. Not as much as the others, but I still really, really enjoyed this and got into it.
