I know! I can't even remember how he died or if she said anything about that. But the part I'm really torn about it Prim's death. HOW CAN SHE DIE??? Prim was the reason Katniss entered the games in the first place! And how Katniss deals with the post-traumatic stress had me sobbing at nearly every paragraph.

One thing to say for her though: If someone can succeed in ripping out her readers' hearts and stomping on them to the point that they never stop thinking about her words, then she has succeeded as an author.
I love Katniss Everdeen. She's so real and so human. Throughout readin this book, people have asked me, "I just hated that Katniss changed so much from the first book to Mockingjay." But isn't that the point? Katniss is a dynamic character who was supposed to change. She shows people that they can be strong on the outside, but that if they're really unraveling inside, they can still make it through. People are so adaptable to their surroundings, and Katniss shows that.
Well, I'm a team gale, so I was really angry with Suzanne. I could rant for hours about it, but I won't. Anyways, I guess the ending was okay, but i was peeved that she didn't say the name of the children! Like, come on. Also, PRIM DIED!!!! I was so friggen angry. I actualy wrote "Prim died." on my calender the day I read it. And she killed Finnick. I can't even put into words how much I wanted to take my mockingjay book and rip it in half. I was tempted to stop reading right there. But I kept going because I wanted to see how she handled President Snow.I luaghed sooo hard when she shot Coin, because I always hated her. She's just not okay. I also liked how they explained Snow's "smell like blood and roses" delima. Over all though, I'd have to say that this book was the worst. The second was the best.
