Has anyone read The Pride series? What to you think?

I love this series!!! It's too funny!!

I adore this series, it is fun and is full of many of my favourite characters. Her characters are spunky, the men are hot and I am entertained throughout the whole book. The romance and passion is there an its just great good fun. I am eagerly awaiting Bear Meets Girl. Her bear shifters are just awesome.

I went through Laurenston's books like kleenex earlier this year. I LOVED LOVED LOVED her Pride and Magnus Pack series were fantastic. All of the books made me LOL which is hard b/c I am one cynical reader!!

I will say that the books use a lot of very blue language..if that is a problem for you, give it up now.
But I guarantee if you stick with it, you will not regret it. I'm currently on my 3rd re-read of the series in prep for the latest new book coming out at the end of the month.

Shelly/G A Aiken is awesome! She is pretty much an auto buy for me. Her heroines are feisty, the heroes sexy, and the plotlines hilarious. Try one out. Hope you enjoy.

I couldn't get through this book. Lots of "OMG I have to have her" and such through out the book. The plot took a backstage to romance and lots of sex. At least as far as I got. If mate books with lots of gawking over each other is your thing u will love it. Also, if u like Gena S's LOrd's u will probably like this. I read the first book in Her dragon series and found it ok.

The series is fantastic and I am just waiting fot the dragon shifter series to arrive in the mail

This series gives you such a giggle with the quirky characters she has created! Im on Riks and Dees story at the moment and loving it! Read The Magnus series too...they are well worth it!

are the books more based on sex or romance?

Christine Elizabeth is the "love" part believable? can you see a progression in the relationship or is it just they have sex and then "oh, i'm in love"? ...more

I read the Dragon Kin series first, not knowing Aiken was Laurenston, then someone in GR mentioned it. I've read the first 3 of Pride and loved them too. Funny, sexy, action. Haven't read Magnus Pack yet.

very very good

I've read this book and it was pretty good. I like the dragon series better though. If you like humor with your romance she's definitely one to try.

I started with the Magnus pack books first and I'll be honest on some level I could not stand them. I mean it wasn't the sex and romance taking over that was annoying. It was all the over kill on beating the bad guys in the face or even so called friends or pack members getting thrown into walls. Was just too much for me. I just finished The Mane Event and the arrogance of the first story wasn't my fave. But Shaw's Tail sort of grew on me and Miss Congeniality. But this is not really a author I would recommend to others.

My first Fav is Miss Congeniality. From Pride Series The Beast In Him. From Magnus Pack i loved Go Fetch. The Mane Event, Continue with Beast Behaving Badly. I love all of her books.

In Dragon shifter series i like What a Dragon Should Know the most ^_^

It's a fantastic series and one of my favorites. Shelly is an absolute riot. Her characters are pretty quirky but in an entertaining way. If I need a good laugh her books are the first I'd pick up. I like the Pride series a lot more than her Magnus Pack series.

She also writes as GA Aiken and does a dragon shifter series. It's also excellent. I think the Pride ones are still my favorite but it's pretty darn close.

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee this books there so fun to read, spread the word to all your friends.
