Begin Radiance bit her lip and closed her eyes as the platform velow her rose up, bringing her into the arena. She shifted her weight anxiously from foot to foot, the uniform somewhat stiffling on movement. No doubt part of the games.
Rolex flexed his arms, anxious as his platform rose higher and higher. Seeing as no strong light filtered into the tube, he infered that the arena must not be very bright, and it was rather quiet too. Not very loud at all.
Damon swallowed nervously, his palms sweating as the platform raised him upwards, all he could think about was how this was the last time he would be outside the arena alive. Any hopes of winning had died a long time ago.
Barley inhaled slowly, willing herself to remain calm as the ground beneath her moved, distorting her for a moment. She felt somewhat ill with nerves and anxiety as a voice started to announce things while they rose. The voice explaining the games. How there would be two victors. One male and one female.
Fang stood on the platform, he looked cautiously around at the other tributes. He grew nervous as he looked around for his lover, Remembrance. He ran his finger gently through his hair that looked perfect even when it was messed up.Claire rose on her platform, she looked around for food and weapons. She needed to get a boost in the beginning if she was to survive.
Remy on the platform met Fang's eyes and blew him a small kiss before looking towards Rolex and smiling softly at him. Bruce took deep deep breaths and kept an image of his baby girl in mind as he prepared himself.
Branch smiled and looked at Ray-- keeping her eyes on her as he got ready to protect his love
Waverly looked around at the other tributes. This is it... She thought thinking about ways she could get supplies. Her mind wasn't there though.
Fang caught the kiss and pretended to put it in his pocket. He grinned back at her and looked at the other tribute. He popped his knuckles and waited for the signal to get off the platforms. He was ready and prepared for anything to come at him.
At the sound of a buzzer ringing loudly an echoing through-out the arena. Radiance tensed and while Rolex bolted towards the supplies, she raced off heading out to the grid. She could always steal another tributes things later. As she ran she only hoped Branch would be okay. Knowing that to wait for him would put them both in more danger.Damon jumped at the sound of a buzzer and watched with a horrified look as the District one guy took off for the supplies. Pushing down a kid to get there. Spotting a gap, Damon bolted off towards the grid. He was relying on figuring out the disc.
Barley winced at the sound of a buzzer and rather than bokt into things, she moved slowly, skirting along the electric wall behind her, able to hear the buzzing and planning on using it as sort of a safety net for now. She could hear a scream from her district partner and then nothing from him. Cotinuing upon her path she kept edging away.
Rolex looked down at the District nine boy and smiled slightly, the disc in his hand had sliced through the kid like butter. Holding onto the pack he had snagged he headed towards Remembrance.
Fang looked at Rolex who was making his way towards Remy."Don't hurt her,"He yelled at him as he snagged the very same sword he used for training. His heart pounding wildly as he got closer to her.Claire ran at Fang, she held a dagger in her hand and she raised it at him.
Bruce saw the blind girl, grabbed a bow and arrow then ran to her "hey, need an ally?" he said gently and sincerelyRemy smiled at Rolex after grabbing a set of daggers. She grabbed his hand and ran towards Fang.
Branch grabbe a spear and through it through Claire in one swift movement (she wa up for kills right?)
Waverly watched Bruce as she grabbed a pack and ran.
((yeah))Claire's blood spluttered from her mouth onto Fang face.
Horror swept across Fang's face and he bolted to the side with his sword at the ready. He was prepared for Branch to attack him, he crouched in a defensive position.
Branch nodded to Fang, grabbed his spear, and ran to Ray
Violet ran for any weapon she could find on the ground. She tumbled on the ground and reached for the dagger near her. She didn't know that she was pierced on the stomach when she tumbled, until she turned around. Blood flowed over her.
Claire fell forward and coughed blood onto the ground. She tried to pick herself up, but took one deep breath and lied there motionless.Fang raised his eyebrow and nodded back to Branch. He looked around and stood up straight, he grabbed a backpack.
Rolex smirked as a boy ran past him and quickly he cut the kid's calf. Hoping to slow the boy down, not kill him. Damon winced as hot blood ran down his leg but he forced himself to keep running knowing that the blood bath was a dangerous place to be.
Barley tensed and then nodded slowly, "Sure. But just know I dont fully trust yoj. So dont pull anything stupid like trying to kill me in the night." she nodded and pulled her disc off her back, throwing it she listened as the disc spun out and then returned back to her awaiting hand. "Hmm a weapon that always returns. Useful."
Bruce nodded "sure thing" he started guiding Barely gently "and I don't trust you either" he smirkedRemy's heart pounded "should we leave now?"
Branch ran in hopes of finding Ray
Fang nodded, speechless."I-I'm not s-s-s-sure what just happened,"he stammered to her."Is Rolex coming with us?" His heart hammered beneath his chest heavily and he looked around once more.
Spotting Branch, Radiance paused and reached out, grabbing his arm she pulled him into the small niche in the wall she had found. They were very close and she smiled, “Glad you made it.” She said smiling brightly. Rolex scoffed, “Of course I’m coming with you. Neither of you have the guts to kill and Remy here needs my protection. The only reason I’d protect you is because she loves you.” He scowled at Fang.
Damon stopped running after a bit and slowed down to a walk, trying to catch his breath from his minor run.
Barley allowed the male to guide her and nodded, “I’m Barley, by the way. You are?” She asked curiously, figuring she ought to know the name of her new partner.
Fang nodded respectfully to Rolex."Thanks, I guess,"he replied. He slung the pack over his shoulder silently, he held his hand out to Remy.
Remy smiled and took his hand, she nodded at Rolex with a smile "cool-- lets go then!"Branch winked at her "of course I made it love!"
Bruce shook her hand still on alert "Bruce" he smiled gently knowing he had given himself the game title as 'the father'
Radiance smiled, "Hmm I'm glad you were so sure. I wasn't. No offense or anything." She added smiling at him, grateful he was alive. Rolex started to walk away, still holding his pack and disc.
Barley nodded and felt a vibration in the ground from a girl hastily trying to get a weapon, no doubt the girl had forgotten her disc worked as a weapon. Throwing the disc out, Barley hardly flinched at the sound of flesh tearing as her Disc ran across the District 8 girl's back. "You're the one with the little girl back at your district." Barley said as the disc returned and she strapped it onto her back.
Branch chuckled and took hold of his disk "we should start moving" he kissed her cheekRemy smiled and started bouncing after Rolex with fang in toll
Bruce smiled softly "yeah--that's me. My baby is waiting for me"
Aubree got up off of the ground and sprinted for the nearest line of buildings. Earlier, she'd been pushed down by a couple of people and were forced to wait until the crowd passed. So much for a head start... she thought, racing into an empty doorway and ducked behind it. While waiting on the platform, everything had seemed so clear right then. Her raising an eyebrow as a couple of well...couples, seemed to be completely in love. Which she found rediculous, in the Games. The. Hunger. Games. Really? she had pondered, but had whisked the thought away quickly. Hiding behind the window, she saw the boy from her District get trampled over and he never moved again. She frowned, remembering him being chosen and the way he was shaking the entire time. Aubree felt bad for him, but knew that he could be at peace now. Focusing on the task at hand, she searched around the small, empty room where she was hiding and found a canteen of water hidden in a closet not too far away from the window. She wasn't going to bother to look for any weapons...yet. Aubree knew she just needed to move. But where's Connor? she thought, peeking out from behind the window again.

Fox dashed towards the Cornucopia, bracing himself for the worst. ((Someone kill him))
Connor sprinted off of his platform the second the gong sounded. He managed to reach the Cornucopia and grab a small pack. He dodged around other tributes and ran a little ways into the city. Connor paused and looked for Aubree. He had seen her when the gong went off but had lost her in the crowd. He stood in the shadows of a small building, waiting for her to appear.

Aubree spotted Conner and sprinted over, carrying the water canteen on her back. Half-way there, a boy ran right towards her and she side-stepped but got knocked over anyway. Getting up, she wacked him with the water canteen when he started trying to grab her ankles, which caused him the fall on the ground. She stood there for a moment, then leaned over and felt his pulse...feeling nothing. Her eyes widened and she turned him over, only having meant to knock him out, if only give him a goose egg.Laying her ear on his chest, she listened for a heartbeat, she heard nothing. Suddenly getting tears in her eyes, she set the water canteen down and shook the teenager lightly, trying to wake him up. "No, no, no, I...I didn't mean to. I was just protecting myself. Wake up!" Aubree forcefully told him, but of course, he didn't move. She remembered seeing him a couple of times while at the Capitol, remembering that his name had been Fox.

Violet's hands are covered with crimson red liquid. Lying on the ground, she gasped for air but it only made her feel pain. Barley's disc caused a huge gash on her back. She rolled, not a good idea, she thought. A tear went down her face as darkness encroach her vision. (May you rest in peace, Violet xD)
Radiance nodded and scanned the area around their hiding place befofe leaving it. Taking Branch's hand she lead him off towards the city lights on the horizon. The lights were pretty far away and she had a feeling getting to the city was going to be dangerous, let alone once you were inside the city. Rolex walked briskly, alert to all dangers as he strolled through the landscape.
Barley nodded, "I hope you are able to get back to her. It would be nice for her to grow up in a big fancy house with toys and soft fluffy dresses. To be treated like a princess."
Branch followed, his disk prepped and ready as his eyes scanned for any sign of trouble. He did NOT like this city.Remy bounced behind him "where are we going?" she whispered very...unalert as she messed with her daggers. She felt kinda dizy.
Bruce smiled softy "that really would be amazing wouldn't it?"
Rolex shrugged, "We are walking." he said simply, not in the mood to elaborate. He was all buisness now, with nothing else but protrcting Remembrance on his mind. Barley nodded, "Mmhmmm." she said as they walked, feeling the ground beneath her become somewhat slippery she bent down and touched the blood, it was somewhat new. "There is no body. But there is blood. That means we're close to an injured tribute. Be ready." she said standing up and walking forward once more.
Remy nodded and put her small pack in front of her that she had grabbed. She found a few gronola bars inside "Thank God..." she whispered before starting to eat one. She hoped it kicked into her blood stream soon-- she didn't want to tell the guys she felt dizzy. Bruce nodded and notched his arrow-- on alert as he positioned himself in front of her "Hear anything?"
Rolex continued walking. He stopped and turned to Remembrance, "You okay? You're not dizzy?" he asked thinking of her blood pressure and worried for her.Barley nodded and pointed off to the left, where Damon was attempting to dress the wound on the back of his leg. "Him." she said simply before going over towards the male.
Remy stuffed more of the gronola bar into her mouth and frowned "Just keep walking..." she muttered hating the feeling of being weak. Bruce sighed and notched his bow at the boy as he slowly approached [want him to die now or Bruce to help him?]
Rolex frowned, "I could carry you, Rem." he offered not wanting her to collapse suddenly. "If you collapse it would put us in more danger than you telling us whats wrong." (go ahead and kill him)
Barley walked behind Damon and sensed the boys panic. He grabbe his disc and it seemed to open, spikes on the edges and the buzzing of electricity coming from it.
Damon held his disc out warningly, his disc was more lethal than theirs because he had unlocked more of his disc. Figured more of it out.
[okay...Jaidyn is going to kill me tho XD] Remy bit her lip "Okay" she whispered before blushing "I'm dizzy...." she shook her head and ate more "It's just worse cause I'm nervous-- elevated heart rate and all."
Bruce took a deep breath "I'm so sorry, but my baby girl is waiting" He whispered and released the arrow, as always, it hit the mark as it always did. Right in the heart.
(yup. She will) Rolex nodded, "Lets rest for a bit." he said and sat down, scanning the horizon and not seeing anyone around.
Barley picked up the kids disc. "Hmm poor kid. But you did him a favor. He had a heart issue. Wouldve died anyway." she said simply as she held the district six's disc. "This disc will be useful."
Remy sighed and sat down next to him "I'm sorry" she whispered but shook her head "What did you grab? I grabbed two daggers and a small pack of first aid and food" Bruce let out his breath, his hands shook a bit. He had just killed a kid. "Yeah" he muttered "Yeah" she nodded and put his arrow back behind his back before pulling the arrow out of Damon's heart and putting it back into his quiver
Rolex shrugged and opened the pack, "Water and a flyer mentioning some arcade." he shrugged and handed her a water bottle. He knew she was probably thirsty and figured she could use it. Barley, sensing his anguish reached out taking his shoulder and squeezing it lightly, comfortingly. "Hes in a better place now. Be doesnt have to deal with the Capitol or the games anymore. If he could, hed probably thank you. Besides you're doing this so your little girl will have a daddy. Think of that."
Remy nodded and took a few sips "Thanks" she smiled softly and handed the bottle back to him "Hey Lex?" Bruce nodded "Right..right." he nodded and took her hand, avoiding looking at Damon's body "Let's get out of her. We should head into....somewhere..." he shook his head
Rolex raised a brow, "Yeah?" he asked tentatively, knowing Rem always seemed to bring up serious things and important things. Things he didn want to deal with right now.Barley nodded and started walking, leading Bruce along and away from the male tribute. She felt bad about killing people, yes, but she also knew it was what had to be done.,
Remy bit her lip "thank you" she whispered with a small smile, she felt as if Rolex were her big brotherBruce walked in front of her "so where do you want to head exactly?"
"For what?" Rolex asked genuinely confused as to why shw ould be thanking hin for seemingly no reason."City. We need food and water. Information." Barley said and sighed, "Walking in front of me just blocks my sense of air flow. It doesnt really help much."
Remy sighed "For protecting me a--" suddenly a small parachute started floating down with a silver packet. In the packet held dozens of small insulin injectives with a small card My Apologies for beating the shit outta you-- you are learning slowly kid. -Jonah Bruce chuckled "Sorry" he moved behind Barely but notched a new arrow for preparation.
Rolex frowned and scoffed, "Great message Jonah. Way to install some confidence." he muttered before handing the pack to Remy. "Theze are for you." Barley tensed, "No you just sucseed in making me feel like that arrow is going to end up in my back. If you want to instil some trust, walking beside me would be your best bet."
Remy looked into the pack and her eyes widened "Your mentor sent these?" She put the pack into her small side bag that held everything else she had. Bruce chuckled "Sorry" he nodded and moved beside her, his arrow still notched ahead of him and in every other way besides where Barely was.
The arena is a race. A race to be the first to the portal, (The beam of light). Along the way you will encounter no plants, no water. Everything you need to survive will be located inside the city. Once inside the city you have to trade life minutes for food and water. When you enter the Arena you will be given a disk that attatches to your back and on that disk are enough life minutes for two months of survival. Use your minutes well, everything you need to survive costs minutes. Your disks can also be used as weapons, but only if you have the brains to figure them out without killing yourself.
As you head towards the portal you must be careful to avoid the Programs. People who will turn you in and force you to enter the cycle games. (Cycle games to be explained in Cycle games topic). Be wary of everyone you meet. Some Programs will help you, others will harm you.
But wait, there's more! The portal requires two tributes to activate it! One male and one female! The race is on. The games have begun.
