Let's be honest, it's pretty uncool, which is exactly the reason we dorks think its cool! if your talking about regular standards like blonde hair butt shorts that look like underwear cool, then it's uncool. But it's cool to me and i'm like the opposite of cool, what i'm trying to say is it's both
Greek mythology is the best. It got me into writing when I was just seven years old and still now I find it highly fascinating. That's probably why I love the Percy Jackson books so much.
We should be honest here people. By the standards of today, Greek mythology is FAR from cool. I should know, I'm anything BUT cool. Who cares what's cool? The fact of the matter is, we love it. Does this make us uncool? Probably, although I bet there a loads of other reasons. Should we care? No!
The geeks are slowly inheriting the Earth. Be a Greek Myth Dork and Proud!

It's cool in the book, but learning about it in school and stuff is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGG.
Greek mythology is so inspiring, and that's why I fell in love with Rick Riordan's Jackson series. Though its nothing compared to original Greek tragedies, etc, it provides a fresh look on it, especially for younger audiences.
I love the stores and the art out of Greek myth; as for the heroes dying, well, the only thing people love more then a hero being victorious is a hero put to rest in a most ironic/painful way.
No hero/demigod in myth is perfect; just as the gods/goddesses often display inflated human flaws.

It's awesome!! It's cool that the Greeks really believed in it all, it's fun to learn it.
Lauren has a point though, school seems to go out of it's way to make interesting stuff dull.

my mothers bed-time-stories were from greek mythology. I've loved it since i was little. my mom loved the ancient world and she told me about it. she died 3 years ago and that made me like greek mythology even more. since her death i have been reading and discovering a lot about greek mythology. my favorite story when i was little was the one with orpheus and eurydice...so romantic !!
Love Greek Mythology and anyone who doesn't hasn't read the Percy Jackson series because it rules

I love greek mythology, but a lot of the stories are incestuious (ignore my spelling mistakes) and really kinda gross. But are without doubt interesting. I personally am interested in mythology of all cultures. But amongst my peers i'm the greek mythology expert ;)
I think Greek Mythology is really interesting. I love it!
Yeah, but sadly most of them in the end the characters die, turn into something or grief about something. It repeats over and over again.
i think it is awesome but loads of the heroes have a tragic or even weak death, take achilles for example, bathed in the river styx, arrow in the heel, and he's dead:( one of the only heroes to have a happy ending is Perseus, and hopefully Perseus/Percy Jackson:)
I love the ideas behind Greek Mythology, and that they have a god for just about everything is so neat! They all have different personalities and powers!
I love Greek mythology so much that i can't stop finding books about greek stuff.. So cool... I even dreamed of being a demigod..haha
I LOVE it soooooo much my friends think I'm insane.
Sure they may have a tragic end, but they've been touched by the gods. I love greek mythology and how people would explain everyday occurences as "the will of the gods" and I love it when authors use the info in new and different ways!
I love greek mythology especially the fact that there gods were so human. They fight with each other, get upset over petty stuff and they were often hypocrites. But the stories r usually good reads although ending with no happiness
I don't really care for it, I read the first book and didn't enjoy the mythology aspect.

what in the name of hades? the percy jackson series are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, not always. I managed to incorporate Greek mythology into a paranormal romance/ mystery novel. There's one person who dies, but it's not a major loss....And instead of heros, who are demi gods, it's nymphs and gypsies.
