when you,ve been Hermione Granger for Halloween 7 out of your 15 years of life, when you use quotes from Harry Potter in everyday conversation, when you read Harry Potter before you fall asleep almost every night, when you come up with your own butter beer recipes, when you have posters of HP covering almost every inch of your bedroom wall (before your sister whom you share a room with takes them down), when you have over 1000 HP cards, when you buy a snitch and play Quidditch with your friend the age of 7(even though you hate hand- eye coordination sports), when you practice magic and make potions to the best of yuor ability ( if I change the ingredients a bit they might work right), when you make HP cake Pops, when you randomly hum the HP theme song at school, when you have a book of HP sheet music, posters, post cards, etc, when you have a collection of HP toys, when you sleep with HP sheets and pillows, when you waited hopefully the entire summer before age 11 for that letter, when you draw a wall sized picture of Hermione in 6th grade and freak out over not knowing if she has bangs, when you have 6 HP coloring books and 4 board games, when people brag they've read the series 10 times and you think, "ONLY 10?", when you're in the process of highlighting and annotating the books, when you have hp stickers covering your dresser, suitcase, and notebooks, when your friens think you're an idiot for running into a brick wall trying to get into platform 9&3/4, when you memorized the answers to the Qs Snape asked Harry in the 1st book in case you get sucked into the book as Harry, when at 10 yrs old you decide you're going to marry Harry, when you realize you could go on forever about what it means 2 be a fan... I'm going to go read HP now :)

you know when you are a Harry Potter fan when anything you hear about that has Harry Potter in it you must do it, like the musical I love Malfoy, only in the musical, NO WHERE ELSE, I'm sorry to say that Malfoy Lovers, but he's only awesome in the musical with the rolling around everywhere, pigfarts and Rumbleroar rides, and with his homemade Death Mark! :D I LOVE HARRY POTTER, LONG LIVE HARRY, PLEASE DON'T DIE, I'LL BE SAD AND THAT WOULD BE BAD!

You won't watch the films because of how badly directed they are and how much they ruined the books
I thought they did an OK job.
