yeah . . . I could see him as a good Simon. Although if the movie is a success and they decide to make a second one (City of Ashes) then he'll need to buff up.

A: Many, many MANY people have auditioned for Simon.
I cannot tell you, like I said earlier who has auditioned for any of the roles due to union laws. Because Logan is so enormously busy, and already leads a franchise, I can say that even though we all love him (Robert, my producer, worked with him before on Three Musketeers) it would be very very very difficult to make that work. See: Fancasting, Dangers of. I’m not saying never, because I don’t have the authority or even the knowledge to say never; I’m saying if I were in a betting pool it’s not where I’d put my money. You never know, though.
I have watched many a fantasy movie be made over the years. Only once have I ever seen the fan choice for a part cast. (Alan Rickman, Snape.) It’s never made any discernable difference to a movie’s success or failure. The movie has to be a good movie and the actors chosen have to do a good job — that’s the actual important thing, in the end. That’s what we should all have our fingers crossed for. :)

Logan is... kind of amused looking. And Simon aint amused looking. So, not a good choice. But... that's just my opinion...

I was just imagining him the same way and after almost a year of thinking of him with a lighter skin tone, now it's harder to imagine him darker. If he is then I am surprised that he did not get more girls. Either way, I still picture him as that nerdy white kid who eventually vamps it up, just cuz I'm used to him like that.

And Lily Collins is a pretty good actress. Yeah, Clary needs to be short but I think we might be surprised (in a positive way...) regarding her performance.

Isabelle annoyed me for awhile...I don't like girls who think they're all that and she kind of came across that way to me. But I like her now and I just want her to swallow her fear and pride and just admit how much she likes Simon. Then Simon can forget Clary.

yes that true Simon has been casted as Robert Sheehan and i like him and i think they finally choose someone who fits in the role ^^ although i like more logan for simon :)
I could see Logan Lerman as Simon but I think that Robert Sheehan is closer to the role....He could also be nice as Raphael...
I think Logan is too good looking. Not that Simon isn't good looking, but he's supposed to be kinda nerdy and quirky in the beginning, and i don't think Logan could pull that off.

But I am so happy with Robert Sheehan too! Love that guy!
And it's really great that he already is playing opposite Lily Collins in the Writer. So I really hope she can convince him to at least audition for the part ^.^
