Angel (mnemosyne) | 48 comments Someone has duplicated an author (and therefore a lot of books) with the author's name spelled incorrectly.
The incorrectly spelled version is here:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

The correct author is here:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

There are more, of course, people appear to love mangling Hermann Hesse.

Incorrectly spelled author:

Incorrectly spelled author: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Correct author:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

And then there's this entry, where the author has no first name, and some books are by Hermann Hesse, though others books linked here are not:

I believe I have fixed up Ms. Braun. I'd add a birth year, but it doesn't seem to be possible to add a year without also adding month and day.

I fixed the first two incorrect Hesses. Someone with far more familiarity with his works than I is going to have to tackle that last mess.

Anna | 22 comments It's all the same Hermann Hesse. I changed the name on the author profile, will look over the editions later.

Anna | 22 comments I have combined (and un-combined) some of Hesse's books. But there are a lot of studymaterial (cliff notes, analyses, interpretations etc) out there, so someone whose German is better than mine might want to look over that as I left a lot of editions uncombined for fearof combining any of those.

Also, anyone who speaks Arabic - the Arabic translations are completely separate from the other versions. My Arabic just isn't up to par. :)
